A Girl And Her Wardrobe

Hi Ladies,

I'm on Team Wear! I bought this blouse yesterday and couldn't wait to wear it. I don't normally wear collared shirts but this really grabbed my attention. I bought it primarily to layer with. It has this lovely large leaf pattern on the front and houndstooth pattern on the sleeves and back;)

Worn over my ponte pants and worn under an oversized sweater with of course my favourite booties.

Does this work? Any suggestions.

Hi Lovely Ladies,

It's a busy week at work and it's also turned quite cold so getting out of my warm, cozy bed in the morning is quite the challenge and as such there is no extra time to mess around with clothes in the morning. I am reaching for I guess what would be my FFB silhouette:)

I haven't been wearing skirts much but saw my little lovelies just hanging around in my closet looking so alone that I decided I really must try to wear a skirt at least once or twice during my work week. This one is a somewhat neglected favourite:).

Styling suggestions, outfit critique etc all most welcome, and appreciated.

Hi Ladies,

Yes, I know, yet another black outfit *evil laugh* but I have accessorized with red! This is essentially what I wore to my SIL's funeral last week, however I wore my statement silver neck piece rather than the red here and also wore my mod inspired coat.

At the risk if embarrassing myself, these trousers are new and I am loving the fit and the leg line....they are maternity pants! Yes I take Angie's mantra of leaving no retail stone unturned quite seriously! They sit low on the tummy, have some stretch at the sides which actually makes for a perfect fit and no gaping and are tres comfy.

Next week I start a 5 week stint full time at work (I usually work 3 days), so I'm going to be calling in my FFBO's:)

As always suggestions for improvement, etc always very happily received.

Hi Ladies,

Had fun styling this dress for church this morning.

I think I might prefer a skinny jean, or thick leggings rather than the opaque tights but will give that a try next time.  I am aware that this will probably not be everyone's cup of tea but I was happy with it.  The dress is oversized and I can see I will have to be careful with overall proportions here (it can in fact be worn two ways that create very different looks)

The dress is sleeveless so should work across all seasons with the right layering.

Its a lovely cold morning in Bendigo *happy sigh* and I have Master 9 home with a slight cold and I am taking the opportunity to drive to Melbourne to collect my new camera which I left at friends house last week :( Hence the return to Iphone Pics. Nothing super exciting but this outfit really does represent what I feel is most 'me'. The ponte skinny pants you have seen before, and these are the new Hush Puppie Booties (3rd consecutive day wearing them - I would sleep in them if DH let me) and the oversized square sweater is new. HI Ladies,

Felt like stepping out of my comfort zone today:)  More and more I realise I can't settle on one specific style, but rather I do enjoy variations that encompass my signature elements... electic?  Yes I think so.

These pants were a gift and I have been very hesitant to wear such a light colour on my bottom half:)  But it's not fair to have them just hanging in the wardrobe so I needed to give them a run and decide if I should keep or pass them to a friend.

I also wanted to break out my new white booties and while I really see myself  pairing these booties with a lot of black, to get started I decided on a lower contrast option.  Seeing the optic white on my feet when I look down is taking a bit of getting use to:)

I have spent the whole day in this outfit and given the day was a lot of running around my coat pretty much stayed on until I returned home.  A couple of my more fashion savy girlfriends said they really liked the outfit.

What do you think?  Are the pants worth keeping?  How does this combination look?  Should I have not left the house in this:)??

Hi Fabbers!

This was my black jacket's last outing as per my earlier post today, good thing I have (quite) a few other black jackets:)

Worn to work today for Performance Reviews and meetings with our Manager.

Black Ponte Straight Leg Pants
Animal Print Tunic
Black Drape Jacket
Black Booties (not my new ones :))

It might look weird but I actually like the way the sleeves of tunic fall below the length of the jacket sleeves.

Thougts, suggestions for improvement always appreciated.  Pics taken at the end of a long day, and I think it shows :)
