A Girl And Her Wardrobe

Hi Ladies,

This is the first YLF viewing of my white jeans:). This is a departure for me as I really prefer darker colours on my bottom half.

Any way not sure how I feel about the outfit...might be a case of just getting used to a white bottom!

I did change my shoes in #1 to my wedges in #2 and in a nod to Maximal bloggers everywhere I'm wearing a white and silver statement necklace he he.

I'm ver embarrassed at how dirty the inside bottoms of my shoes are ...look away :). I wear these with bare feet in the summer!

So would live your input. Not feeling 100% about styling these jeans.

Hi Ladies,

Last Friday night was the school production of Annie. The kids had been working on it all term and Master 9 and his class were "citizens".

It was a very hot day and evening and I just wanted something that draped and wasn't fitted so #1 was what I started with. Dress and shooties, and #2 is what I left the house in. Same combo but added skinny jeans under the dress as I was feeling a bit self conscious about the length of the dress :)

I'm thinking flats might be best if I wear the dress alone.

#3 is Master 9. This is on the stage after the performance. He made his bow tie:)

I'm sorry I'm not commenting as much as usual...this tends to be the busiest time of year for me so I'm sneaking moments to read where I can:)

Quickly snapped this morning's outfit (#1) I love this skirt, so comfy to wear. I have a "businessy" day so wanted a suit look without the suit:)

#2 is the outfit I posted with this skirt last summer.

No...I cannot sing! I am narrating a special Christmas Choir Presentation being performed by my church:). It was presented at church this morning and we have another presentation this afternoon at an aged care facility:)

A la Shannon I am trying to remember to snap my accessories too.

The choir are all wearing red, black and white so I decided to try and continue the theme. These are my summer weight slouchy black pants, worn with a thrifted black and white abstract print blouse and my new black jacket http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....opped-pant

I am very pleased with this jacket. It drapes perfectly, has a slouchy look and feel and has a modern folded over style lapel that sits away from my chest area allowing a little more skin to show. interestingly, the sleeves are actually tapered! This makes them quite easy to scrunch:) I may now retire two black jackets that are no longer quite what I'm wanting.
