Hi Ladies,

This is the first YLF viewing of my white jeans:). This is a departure for me as I really prefer darker colours on my bottom half.

Any way not sure how I feel about the outfit...might be a case of just getting used to a white bottom!

I did change my shoes in #1 to my wedges in #2 and in a nod to Maximal bloggers everywhere I'm wearing a white and silver statement necklace he he.

I'm ver embarrassed at how dirty the inside bottoms of my shoes are ...look away :). I wear these with bare feet in the summer!

So would live your input. Not feeling 100% about styling these jeans.

    I like this look a lot! Pic 2 is my favorite. The peep-toe wedges play better with the white jeans. I see color, pattern, and even some shine...fab outfit!

    i think you look great.this combo is a particular favourite of mine for summer but i'm going to try it for this season too, maybe with a full shoe or bootie but thats just me,i live in england and its alot colder at the moment here.

    I love this blue with the white. And the black added is wonderful. Oh, I just may have to try my white jeans this winter also.

    Angie, really? I was not feeling confident at all when I left the house. The outfit felt just a little jumbled.

    Sooooooo in love with #2 Deb! Absolutely gorgeous. Trust me - you'll get used to the white jeans and then you'll wonder how you ever lived without them. You look spectacular.

    #2 is superb! The jeans are lovely on you, and of course the cobalt is, as well. Love the addition of that maximal necklace. ;-)

    You look like a fresh burst of summer in that beautiful blue and white combination. I don't think you should hesitate from wearing white bottoms. As recently coronated Queen Thrown Together it is my duty to tell you that what feels a little jumbled looks gorgeous on you.

    Deborah, you are perfect in white jeans! What fun to see you trying out this new adventure. Given your climate and you complexion, and you love of blue and black and red, white jeans are just the ticket for you.

    Agreeing with everyone else that the white jeans are great on you.I wouldn't be surprised if they end up in frequent rotation. And that blouse, I love the floaty look of the fabric and that vibrant cobalt.

    Oh, I love this combo! You look terrific - truly! :) The white and cobalt is SO fresh and I love the wedges. Keep on rockin' those white jeans! Can't wait to see more combos with them!

    Deborah, this outfit is sheer sophistication . YLF. The accessories are great and I love that bag (I have a very similar one which I am yet to use).

    I bought a pair of white denims last year but only started wearing them (after alteration) this summer. I find white denims versatile and good for a change, however, maintaining them is a chore. You can have a look at the 6 different ways in which I styled mine here.

    Thanks so much ladies. And Asingh thank you for linking to your white jeans combos, I really appreciate the inspiration. I do like the jeans but the light colour will take some adjusting to. Will have a play and see what other toppers I have that might work.

    What??? Is it the first time when YOU (The Black and White's Lady) wear a white jeans??? What a shame!!! And faints, as Angie said, this is a gorgeous look, on you!!! But I can totally relate. It was no more than fall 2009 when I started wearing white jeans again at my adult age (thanks to YLF impressions).
    So go on Deb, and never look back! YLF in white denim!

    The white jeans are a perfect fit on you. I also shy away from lighter bottoms (except my light jeans). Even my colored jeans are a darker color (green instead of say pink). Lovely outfit!

    I am slow to warm up to white pants with dark tops as a general rule, but you have done it just perfectly here. The accessories repeating the lighter colors is what does it for me.

    The necklace is just. so. clever. in this outfit.
    I struggle with necklaces as I often feel over-dressed when I wear them, so one more reason why your pics. are a great tutorial for me.
    I have been considering white jeans, but have not taken the plunge yet.
    This outfit is an inspiration-so lovely!
