WIW : Summer arrives early!

Hi Ladies,

As is the way here, we tend to bypass Spring and Summer arrives before it's supposed to lol

Very busy weekend so I kept Master 12 home today and we did some errands and are about to sit down and watch Jurassic World.

This is what I wore this morning:

Jersey Crop "Lauren" Pants - Motto
Ink Jersey tunic - Target 'Limited Editions'
Sandals - London Rebel

I am not a crop pants girls so this is new for me:) I liked the combination of the length and the fabric, it seems to work.  I often pefer a slim pant leg to to legging so I expect to wear these under tunics and shorter dresses too. And because they are pants drapey tops will work fine ove them too.  I am looking forward to styling them with a heel too.

    Love the drapy top! Not sure about the pants length - will let others more uptodate eyes weigh in (I was too indoctrinated by Angie's dislike for most cropped pants some years ago!)

    Very beautiful for at home wear!

    Anne, I have never worn crops before because I find the proportions so hard to get right:( These are a soft fabric and have that crushed look which creates a vertical line which I feel helps to create the illusion of length;).

    This looks great, Deborah! Navy/ink and black makes me happy:) I think the length is great for both heels and flats. These pants will probably be very versatile in your wardrobe both on their own and as a layering piece.

    I love this, Deborah! I think of ink and black as such a signature on you. The pant length looks good to me. Sure, it's a little longer than on the model, but I think it works with the longer, drapey top. A shorter length in the pants might throw off the lengthening proportions.

    As an aside, I so admire your leaping in to try proportion and am looking to you for guidance and inspiration. I had a hard time with PPL so adding cropped pants, culottes and higher shaft boots to my wardrobe has my head spinning. ;)

    That blue drapey top is so pretty.  The cropped pants look good to me the way you have them styled here.  Have fun watching your movie!
