WIW: On A Sunny Saturday

Hi Fabbers!

A quick post and run. Grocery shopping calls, along with some housework and gift shopping for a 40th we are going to tonight.

Easy and comfy outfit. Not my best silhouette but the ease and comfort make up for it,

Tshirt dress, leggings, sandals and drop pearl earrings.

Added grey cardigan as it's sunny but not that warm:(

I cropped photo show how Master 10 set himself up this morning:). Lying on a mat, playing his iPad AND watching a movie on the TV...apparently he is "chilling".

Thanks for looking.

xxxDeborah

Nice! The unexpected shape of the sandals really takes it up a notch.

And I love your son's "chilling" pose.

Looks like A very stylish R$R day to me!

You are always so gorgeous. I have really been working on my leisure outfits. It takes no more time to look decnt than it does to pull on something sloppy.

What a great outfit! It's my 40th next year - want to head west and help me celebrate?!

  • Hestonian replied 10 years ago

You look wonderful! I love the monochromatic look with the little pop of lipstick color and the dangly pearls. It's funny how kids can relax anywhere!

I love the version with the grey cardi, Debs. The grey is pretty with your hair and skin tone. And Master 10 knows how to chill. We've been doing the same at the Cox Castle. xo

I like the sandals with your leggings and sweater.  It's an unexpected shape that keeps your outfit looking interesting and original.

This is pretty darn cool for an "ease and comfort" outfit.

Thanks for look looking ladies and for your lovely comments. Anna I would love to come and celebrate your 40th:). I would wear the ver "Odyssey" look I put together for last nights party:). We'd have a ball.

Lantana, the tee dress is soft and a nice weight but it's nothing special, I picked it up at Supre! They have a lot of these type of pieces but quality varies so I just choose carefully.

Supre?! Is there something there that will actually cover one's bottom!

  • Sharon replied 10 years ago

I like that shape on you-you have good legs and allows them to be seen. Colour me surprised at Supre! I think they have a soundtrack they play specifically to repel me whenever I venture in.
That brand of 'chilling' looks very familiar to me, having been through two lots of teenage years. Add in Facebook, a video game and Mi Goreng instant noodles and behold the future for the next 8 years until they get girlfriends! :)

I think the grey cardi adds a lot.  A very chic casual outfit suitable for lounging.  And Master 10 is also doing what they call "double screening" -- watching TV while also on your computer/phone/iPad.  I am guilty of the same, unless the TV show is "Homeland" -- then I single screen it.

I find it interesting that a flowy cardi is what brings this whole look together.  Perhaps it's just a third piece?

I like the shift, it is edgy and arty.  It seems to me you need some ease in it to keep it cool, but without the cardi is does seem a bit big.  Tapering the arms might add some structure in and of itself.

I think you look great! Have inspired me to give Supre another go. I especially like the shoes - where did you get them? Also have been looking at your blog, which I'm really enjoying. Cheers.

  • Deborah replied 10 years ago

Hi Rebecca, thanks for your very kind words:). Shoes are from Target. I think they are about 3 or 4 years old.

The cardigan is a great addition, very flattering on you. Lucky girl still to be wearing flipflops!!!!

  • Deborah replied 10 years ago

VC we are heading into summer here so hopefully the next few months will see lots of opportunities for sandals and bare feet:)

  • VenusCow replied 10 years ago

    Jealous:) Best, Shirley
