  Hope you'll have a good time in Melbourne, Debs! I'm so excited to see your super creatively layered and textured, edgy but feminine outfits day after day!!!! This is no exception and a K2K again!!! WOW! 
  (Is there a little tag/label on the scarf visible there on the first pictie? I realize this is not a deal breaking thing-but once noticed it bugs me a little-(hey I wear my stronger specs, today:-)). I always cut them off, when buying a new scarf...)

  Looks lovely. I particularly love the scarf. I think I have a very similar one myself! The ensemble is chic and beautiful, simple yet elegant, minimalist yet intriguing. 

  Now this outfit of yours I can totally copy!!!! I have all the pieces - well fitting slim pants with some interesting detail (ribbed detail long the sides in my case), simply white top, high-low hem black sweater, comfortable booties, and a pretty patterned scarf. Its brilliant! And I promise...it will be one of the first outfits I'm going to wear once winter finally arrives here!

  I feel the shift towards simpler ensembles myself....I think I'm finally done with all the print and pattern and yearn for a simpler colour palette and minimalist designs that winters bring!

  Another fan here! The different textures bring so much depth to the outfit. i can only imagine how much better this looks in real-life, considering black doesn't photograph well in general.

  Oh, this is lovely.  Simple, sure, but the genius mix of textures makes it special. 

  I like it best with the scarf, but I realize that may be there for warmth rather than your all day look.

  You are an absolute artist of sophisticated simplicity.
  It's in the fab details of your styling - the white collar peeking out at the top, and white hem peeking out at the bottom.  The mixed textures.  The minimalist palette.  The restraint of knowing what to leave out.  Just totally fab!
