WIW : Touch of Grey

Hi Ladies,

Keeping it simple today.  It's my day off and school assembly, grocery shopping and a quick lunch with DH have been the order of the morning.
Oh and it looks like Autumn may have arrived lol

I did a little shopping earlier this week as a couple of casual knits caught my eye over at our local shopping centre.  I came home with this sweater in the grey, also bought it in black.  I then picked up another V neck neck black sweater with side front zippers - this has been a bit of  HEWI for me and I have a pinned outfit I cannot wait to replicate:)

Jeans - Katies
Knit - Emerson
Open Toe Boots :  Rubi
Grey and white Tiger Scarf : Cross Roads

Thanks for looking.  How does this work together for a casual run around look?

xxx Deborah

It works perfectly! I just bought a very similar grey sweater. I don't have an only grey print scarf...mine has shades of pink in it...but now I think I will look for one!

Wonderful outfit, that soft gray is a great color on you and I love the 'texture' in the scarf and top.

Looks terrific both with and without the scarf!

Gorgeous! I love the softness of this color scheme on you, and it is still very congruent with your style. This is so beautiful on you...

Very pretty sweater. I love the hem and the fluid not clingy style. I think this is a great outfit for running around town. Casual yet chic :-)

Gorgeous! Love the new sweater. I like the rolled pants with the sandals, and the scarf adds a floaty, light touch.

What a great look. The grey is soft and flattering and the boots with the toe cut away adds edge. Your hair looks fab.

You look great! Love the casualness of the sweater but you still manage to look very chic. Love it with the scarf but both ways work!

Awesome look! I love the color of the new sweater. I really like the version with the scarf.

Absolutely gorgeous. And I completely understand the challenge of finding a special sweater, and this is special. So well done. Package the entire outfit and send it to me immediately. Thank you.

If I weren't 6 inches taller than you, I'd love to shop in your closet...love your style!!

Of the two photos, I like the version with the scarf better, but they are both fabulous!!

The soft greys are beautifil on you. I like the outfit with and w/o the scarf equally. The sweater has a wonderful fit, fluid but not overwhelming.

    Love the  knit Deborah!
I am feeling more for my scarfs so far this year, though it has been too warm to wear them yet :)

  • Laurie replied 9 years ago

Beautiful outfit. Wow, that scarf just amps it up.

  • Echo replied 9 years ago

Amazing outfit, and I especially love the scarf.

BTW, the title must have been intentional, and I hadn't thought of the song in years. It is now on a continuous loop in my head.

Looks awesome! I was thinking - wow, that must be a huge house with high ceilings and doors because you do look lovely and tall. And then I read you're not even 5' 2"!! Normal sized doors, then!!! :-) (I am praying for autumn to come to my part of the world (Brisbane) but looks like we may be in for another week of around 30, sigh...)

  • Deborah replied 9 years ago

Lol minigirrl, it's both ;)  My home does have high ceilings and tall doors:)  I feel for you in Brisbane.  Here in Bendigo it is cooling down but tomorrow is expected to be 28 and sunny!

  • Deb replied 9 years ago

    Beautiful in its simplicity!

  • No Fear of Fashion replied 9 years ago

Yes, lovely outfit. With scarf in autumn and with necklace when it gets a bit warmer. I take it you are an all black/grey/white girl?
