WIW : Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to all the Aussie dads!

Wore this today;)

Newish cross over tapered pants ( bought about a month ago planning for Spring). Navy sleeveless top and Cocoon Cardigan with black ankle boots.

Proportions are probably not absolutely conventional but I found I quite liked it.

Thoughts and suggestions much appreciated.

Hope you are having a great weekend.

xxxDeborah

I love those cross over pants and they work beautifully with the cocoon cardigan and navy shell.  I might prefer a more open type of footwear showing more skin to add structure.  But I do understand the comfort of booties having for opted for them myself tonight, even though the ankle strap pumps looked better.

Thanks, and Happy Father's Day to your DH!

Very interesting pant Deborah- I haven't seen anything like them before.
The cocoon cardi is a great shape with them too.

You know how I love navy, and I can imagine a satin-y black top with this outfit as an alternative,  echoing  the booties?

It looks great, I really like the proportions!  And I love the crossover pants: a little more structured than "hammertime". :)

That particular navy is gorgeous with the black, and those pants look particularly luxe. Really love this look.

Queen Drape strikes again! Love the colors, drape, texture - everything.
Have you tried the pants worn on top of the booties - how does it look?

This outfit is a delight. The blue looks wonderful on you and with black...still low contrast. I like the cross-over pants as more conventional than harem pants but still not mainstream. Maybe it is because they seem to give more structure to the outfit.

Those trousers remind me of my EF faux wrap pants - these look great on you. Love the whole outfit - once again fantastic draped proportions.

Really love seeing these colours and different fabrics on you - those pants are fantastic!  What brand are they?  And that particular shade of navy, as others have already said, is beautiful with black here.  Stunning!

    Yep - gorgeous!

    Cool pants.

Not even the queen of drape but I would go so far as to say the High Priestess of drape. You are in a whole different style zone that is so freaking cool.

Love the close up showing the textures and weights of the fabric -- these can really make a difference in minimalist looks and you've done beautifully here.  Happy Father's Day, Aussie style!

Oh I am so glad I clicked in, even though I'm late to the party. I freakin' adore this blue with your black! Reminds me of a night sky...oh,so fab. And the shapes of everything...you are a walking art exhibit. Always.
