WIW : Anzac Day Service

Hi Ladies,

It is Anzac Day tomorrow and the school conducted a very moving service this morning in remembrance.  Master 12 did a reading and I was very proud.  He did an awesome job.

It's not a work day, and I had a hair appointment, so I wanted smart but casual.

Skinny Jeans/Jeggings : Target
Jersey Tunic : Valley Girl
Draped Jacket : Metalicus
Boots : Hush Puppies
Layered necklace : Millers

I had let my hair get quite long at the back and decided I really didn't like it:)  I am now feeling much fresher with the back shorter, some texturising and less bulk:) Not totally clear on where I am going with it, but I think it will be what I have seen referred to as a pixie bob lol.  I think that might be hair speak for short bob :)

Thanks for looking.
xxx Deborah

You hair looks wonderful, whatever the style is called. It is fun to see you in a black/white outfit. The layered necklaces look great and the boots look so comfortable.

Hi, Debs! Each time I see a post of yours, you continue to surprise me with new fluid drapes and shapes!!! This is awesomeness to the power of awesomeness:-)). Love the curve of your blazer is perfectly echoing the one of your top's.  You really look like a super stylish, proud Mom! Congrats for Master 12 and you know my opinion on your hair:-)).

Gorgeous as ever! I love everything about this look: the double scoop lines of your jacket and tunic, the paired necklaces...and of course your hair--the lines echo your outfit. I think this cut looks great but look forward to seeing where you are taking it. There are so many cuts that will look good on you, so you have lots of choice!

How are your new specs working out for you, btw?

I had to Google Anzac Day I was a soldier so it was a interesting bit of history.

It is amazing to me how you keep your "uniform" of black and white looking so fresh and new.

Joining the crowd who had to google :-)
Beautiful outfit (and yay for some white on Deb!) I think adding white makes it more graphic and striking than if it was all black...just saying :-)

Another great example of your eye for Fab pieces from a variety of stores and price points Deborah.
A lovely harmonious and stylish outfit as the result!

the sheer geometry of your outfits is second to none, Deborah.    From the hair (great) to the jewelry (simple, perfect) to the flow of the outfit, this is such a winner.
