Hi Ladies,
I have been so excited to post on the new YLF, so here is my celebratory outfit!
I have a function coming up soon and this was the end result of a little play in closet.
What do you think.?
Blouse : Suzanne Grae
Skirt : Suzanne Grae
Booties: Django & Juliette
I added the polka dot clutch to add some softness and fun.
Thanks for looking:)
xxx Deborah

Debora replied 11 years agoDeborah, you always look so beautiful and sophisticated. I love the combination of leather and sparkle. The addition of the polka dot clutch is a brilliant stroke!

kellygirl replied 11 years agoSo chic! I agree with Debora, you exude sophistication! Fab!

Karie replied 11 years agoI think your 'play in the closet' was very successful! I love how the toughness of the leather is softened by the sparkle in your blouse. The booties are gorgeous and polka dots are always fun (that's probably why I love them)!

cheryle (Dianthus) replied 11 years agoKelly took the word I was thinking. Your outfits always have a bit of edge and are also very sophisticated.

Tina.b replied 11 years agoI just love your refined yet edgy style. The combination of the leather and the tank is a nice juxtaposition. It's all black but not at all oppressive, there is a lightness to the look. Super inspiring!

Lyn D. replied 11 years agoWell, for someone not so keen on sleeveless tops, this is an adventurous and FAB outfit Deborah!
That skirt I am really loving on you- great length and seems to 'go' with everything.
The dotty clutch is THE perfect touch for the outfit, and I wonder how your new white jacket would look added on top for a cooler day? -
Tanya replied 11 years agoSuch a sophisticated outfit Deborah! Love the leather skirt and the sparkly top together.

Deborah replied 11 years agoThanks and I am glad you like this. The desciptors, sophisticated and edgy are music to my ears as I think that it really what I am aiming for in my wardrobe.
Lyn, I have submitted and I think come around to the sleeveless 'thing'. I do like sleeveless but I worry about my upper arms...so I have decided I will just have to get them toned. And great minds think a like... i can't wait to try the white jacket with this. -
lyn67 replied 11 years agoDeb, I know your clothes-you couldn't go wrong(even if you wanted:-))playing in your closet!!! Fab pairing, again.
Now about the sleeveles thing...
I don't see anything wrong here- but it's my most dreaded frump factor, esp when picties are taken. I cannot leave bare my upper arms---never again in my life!!!!(and have some broad shoulders, too:-((). I did this mistake on my 20 years college reunion evening ball-...I felt like a million bucks and didn't knew about that issue then... but was soooo sooo horrified to see me in picties taken close, at the table, when not my jacket on:-((((.... -
Deborah replied 11 years agoOh Lyn, I bet you think your arms are much worse than they are. Sometimes I think the wrong angle in a photograph just shows parts of us not at their best. Having said that, I fear the exact same thing.
