Can I Break The Order Return Cycle?

Hi Ladies,

I find myself not needing much for winter. My wardrobe is in good shape and I am happy:) I would however like to add just a couple of new goodies as refreshers but so far the tall boots, the Asos dress and the Melalitcus skirt have all gone back.

Possibly the only serious wish on my wish list has been grey or metallic ankle boots. I have had my eye on these for a while. They went on sale and I kept 'umming and ahhing" and then they took another 30% off... what's a girl to do? I kept asking myself, but will you wear them????

Well..... then browsing on line as you do, I spotted the Rick Owens outfit featuring a metallic boot in #3 and that pretty much sealed the deal.

These are Nine West and are a pewter. Perhaps not as bright as silver but they look great (I have seen them IRL).

So hopefully these will be keepers... will keep you posted.

xxx Deborah

Oh, I hope they work. My best purchase from the fall was my silver booties from Anthro. I am still wearing them a couple of times a week. I LOVE them. I hope you love yours!!!!

Oh, I LOVE them :).  But only you will know how they'll fit with your wardrobe.  And I'm impressed that you feel "set", heading in to winter.

Actually you may like them better than bright silver. I hope that they work for you. You won't know unless you try them.

Ooh, very nice boots (should work great with your wardrobe).  Fingers crossed.

Keeping my fingers crossed! They look awesome.

Those look fantastic. Bit of shine and edge but so wearable. I also prefer that pewter to bright silver for that reason and because I think it translates so well in a boot-- suggests patina.

I think these would be a great addition to your style.  Have fun playing in your closet with ways to style them!  Hoping these work and aren't , another return...

Love them Deborah and I think they will mix beautifully with your wardrobe. Can't wait to see them on you.

BTW, I love the way you (and many others here) are discerning shoppers.... we should never feel guilty about returning items that don't work!

Oooooh....love them!  Hope they work for you!  I find it so fun that you are entering winter and we summer.  Do you follow or lead in trends, I wonder?

I love these for you, Deborah. The silver boots I got last fall made my 'most frequently worn' list for footwear. And mine had a higher heel so I think this nice low one will be even more wearable. Good luck!

These are beautiful!  Hope they fit.  I *think* Nine West runs narrowish.

I love the idea of the silver with your dramatic black Deborah!
This makes me feel better about a recent purchase of Zensu black patent ankle boots- standout shiny (for me)- do I dare? Still deciding, but Angie's post about dramatic elements has me thinking about keeping.

Lyn you need to show us the boots! They sound stunning.

Donna now I wonder if I should have gone up 1/2 size??
