WIW: White on Christmas Eve

Hi Fabbers,

Home from our Christmas Carols Service this evening, and congratulations to my DH for putting together a fantastic program. It was very well attended with other 500 people in the main auditorium, and Master 10 worked with Dad and ran the lights :)

I have been looking forward to wearing this outfit and had considered it for Christmas Day but with all the cooking and eating, I know white is not a good choice for me :)

The top and pants are both new. The top is a crinkly satin with a fabulous over layer at the front which creates some fab draping. The pants are a very simple slim leg pant. Sandals are vintage:) Kept it all pretty simple, with my silver rings, silver drop pearl earrings and left my watch of and wore a 'cuff' which is 4 strands of black satin 'rope' with a silver clasp with small pearls set in it.

Your thoughts on how this works, or if it can be improved would be appreciated.

I hope to pop back in the morning to wish you all a proper Merry Christmas but til then enjoy your Christmas Eve.

xxx Deborah

Wow. You look like you stepped out of the pages of a magazine Deborah. And not just a fashion spread but some smart feature story about movers and shakers of the world. Absolutely gorgeous.

And I'm glad you and DH and M10 had a wonderful festive carols night. Well done :)

Blessed Christmas to you!   It's -1 Fahrenheit at the moment here in Chicago, with wind chill to make it even colder.

You look elegant and vibrant.  The drape and sleeve are very flattering on you, too!

Gorgeous, it's white which is a lovely change from black, but has all the draping I associate with your style.  A great piece.  Merry Christmas.

Deborah, this is one of your very best outfits, EVER. I just know that Angie would say K to the power of K, so I am saying it for her! So elegant, crisp, cool, and smart. I LOVE the top and your bracelet. You look like a vision. Congrats to Mr. D and Master 10 but they should be equally proud of their beautiful and creative wife and mother.

Black and White? If it's good enough for Coco Chanel.......... I  love your jewellery, you are the queen of accessories. I always like to cover my upper arms so for me the only thing missing is a little jacket, cardi or throw.
    Happy Holidays:)
