WIW : Wednesday Sneaks

Hi Fabbers!

Further to last Wednesday's post featuring my thoughts on the need for comfy, yet stylish shoes for my Wednesday community activities, this was todays outfit, once again featuring my new sneaks.

I love these shoes. So comfy and I imagine it won't be long before I work them into an office outfit lol.

Today's outfit:

Cobalt Square Cut Shirt : Sussans
Black Knit Tube Skirt : Kmart
Slip On Sneaks : Target.

Do the proportions look ok here? I rolled the skirt at the waist band once to shorten it just a little.

Thanks for looking and your thoughts always very valued.

Please excuse headless shot, it was one of the days and I looked a bit like an extra from "The Walking Dead"... didn't want to scare anyone.

xxx Deborah

Love the colour blocking! Striking simplicity as always and the sneakers complete this modern silhouette perfectly. A really nice look Deborah!

I think the proportions here look exactly right, Deborah. And I'm loving how you're doing Sporty Luxe with your new sneaks. (also love this cobalt blue on you, and the oversized fit of the shirt paired with the fitted pencil skirt).

Very nice Deborah.  The shape of the skirt is so nice and very flattering with the oversized top.  The blue is lovely on you and I think the sneaks work - to a great extent because the shape of the skirt is so fab on you.

That blouse is just gorgeous! I love the cut and drape of it. It pairs perfectly with the tube skirt and sneakers. I'm coming to love sneakers with skirts, in general! You look great Deborah, and very much alive and well. I'm glad you've found a shoe solution to your Hard Work Wednesdays. ;)

Stunning color blocking! The color and drape of your blouse look wonderful on you. I love the casual vibe which sneakers bring to skirt outfits such as this one. It's fun to wear a skirt AND have super comfortable feet, isn't it?

Wow, yes, proportions are perfect(agree that skirt had to be rolled up a bit at waist) and that cobalt blue is a stunning color on you! Love the snakes to it! Trully stylish in it's comfyness:-).

Looks terrific! The narrowness of the skirt works well with the sneakers.

So cool! That blouse is beautiful on you, and it's fab over the slim skirt. Such gorgeous drape. Your sneakers are earning their keep!

This is just terrific. I love the way your sharp hair creates juxtaposition with the slip on sporty sneakers! And the proportions are perfect here. You look sensational in the cobalt top. That is a shape I adore and an overall silhouette that feels absolutely perfect to me for summer. I am going to copy this if I can ever find slip ons that stay on my feet! Don't you love how those tube skirts can be easily adjusted? I do that with mine, too.

Deborah, I KNEW something was missing from these shots!! It was your head!!!

Love how the sneaks look with the long skirt--cool!

I love this outfit Deborah!  But, I know it would look even better if there was a head on your body!  ;-)  The cobalt blue seems like a very natural extension of your primarily black wardrobe - it is a very flattering color on you.  And, the sneakers are perfect with the tube skirt!  I got those same Target sneakers in the animal print and I have been amazed at how comfy they are and how they work for so many different outfits.  Great oufit!

MArley I also bought the animal print but returned them as everytime I put them on I changed and put the black on lol...
