Hi Ladies,

I am so over the hot weather.   I think I am done with summer clothing and am now starting to think about Autumn/Winter.

Today, with thanks to some cooler weather, I was able to get back to a little layering and wore a new item bought with Autumn in mind.  It's a sleeveless jacket / vest in black.  Fabric is soft but still has a little structure which I like.    I have quite a few tops that will go well with this over my slim pants for the office.  

Sleeveless Draped Jacket :  Tempt
Kaffy Cami : Motto
Skinny Black Jeans : Katies
Shoes : Novo

Also debuted my new pearl pendant.  Thanks for the suggestions on my other thread. I went with a small square diamond stud earring so as not to detract from the necklace.

    Oh my gosh this is gorgeous . YOU are gorgeous . Look how this pendant fills the neckline perfectly . And I really , really like the vest - it's a stunning piece . This is a look I want to copy - need a best like this for summer . :)

    The first thing I noticed was how well the pearl fits in the neckline. Then the vest. It looks perfect for your style. I like how it has some structure at the shoulder. YLF.

    What a fabulous outfit! I love the necklace and the vest is perfect.

    We lost our local Temt and Valleygirl stores. I have no idea why and I'm very disappointed. There were treasures to be found in both.

    Thank you Lisa! Funny thing is I bought the bed yesterday and came home to see Motto have a very similar sueded version available end of Feb!!! This wasn't pricey but is a nice fabric and looks a little better quality than it is:)

    Thanks Joy. I think I'm going to really enjoy this pendant. I have quite a few v necks and I think it's going to work with most of them:)

    Coco we have just got Temt at our complex. Used to shop them in Melbourne. They do have the most amazing gems amongst a sea of very poor quality clothing. Finding this was totally unexpected. I found a couple of things around the 40.00 (pricey for them) mark that I found interesting:)

    As everyone else has noted, the first thing that struck me was how beautifully the neckline and pendant complement each other.  So gorgeous, and very "you."

    What lisap said. Except a vest like yours is a winter piece for me! It's waaaay too hot here still for any sort of layering. Glad it's a little cooler for you.

    You look amazing in this. I love the necklace, and the way it sits at the perfect length with that neckline. Darn, now that I'm figuring out how to work the pearls on me, I want that necklace -- I could see mixing that with other silver and/or pearl pieces for a layered look too.

    I'll send you some of our snow to cool you off... ;-) although next week we are supposed to have temps back up in the 50s (10 C or so). Stay cool!

    Such an interesting shape on your top, from a distance it looked like a large necklace on a crew-neck.
    This is how you always make your black and layers so Fab with unusual designs and the contrast with lighter hair and skin-tones.
