WIW : Slouch

Hi Ladies,

Got home last night after a very relaxing day yesterday spent at the Endota Spa in Red Hill followed by lunch and wine tasting at Pier 10 ... Victorian Fabbers I highly recommend Pier 10.

So still feeing very relaxed I felt drawn to 'slouch' this morning.

Very easy and comfortable outfit for church today, followed by some running around.

Black slouch pants
Black drape top
Black wedge open toe bootie
Large silver stud earrings, white watch and silver rings.

Thanks for looking:) Does the overall slouch and drape effect work well together?

xxx Deborah

    Gorgeous!

And I'm very jealous of your relaxing day - spa, winery, what could be better?!

Deborah, I love your aesthetic and I'm wondering what brands you wear to give you such amazing drape? Also how tall are you? I would not mind adding more structured drape into my own wardrobe, but not sure how to do it. You always look so polished and sophisticated, but also comfortable!

Also I'm interested in hearing more about your shoes, as they all look so comfy yet uber-stylish too.

I admire how easy you make it look. Please share your secrets.

What a beautiful but comfortable look!  The top and bottom have just the right amount of slouch and look perfect together.  I love the booties.

Thanks ladies, I enjoyed this outfit so much I almost wore it again today to work lol... maybe tomorrow.

Shiny you are very sweet and I will answer to questions as best I can:)

In a perfect world where money was not issue, I am pretty sure I would wear Rick Owens and Complex Geometries exclusively.  But unfortuantely in my world where budget comes into play I look to these labels for direction and then try to find similar stylings elsewhere.  Some of these stylings trickle through into our mainstream stores at very reasonable prices.  So essentially I follow Angie's mantra of leaving no retail stone unturned, I do window shop a lot and also browse online in the hope that I will find items more in my price range in my preferred aesthetic.   I am just under 5ft 2:)  Angie is responsible for me wearing more interesting shoes.  I used to wear only black and probably quite boring shoes.  I do like to wear black outfits so I like to add interest at times with my footwear.  I won't buy shoes that are uncomfortable or hard to walk in.  For that reason, I generally favour a wedge heel or a block heel.  I also look everywhere for shoes and try to buy quality.  However the booties in this outfit post were very cheap and are not leather ;)
