WIW : Red Booties V.2

Hi Ladies,

I so appreciated your positive comments on my red ankle boot outfit in my previous post and today I did a variation of that outfit. Opted for a slightly simpler ensemble and minimized the amount of red.

Wearing Oversized Black Sweater, Black Skinny Pants, Animal Print Scarf  and Deep Red Ankle Boots.  I do normally 'tie' my scarves but today I just felt like letting it drape.

I feel like I can now get these boots into more regular rotation, so now it's onto the next pair :)

BTW  I have rolled my pants to show more of the boots, but my goodness I don't know how people do this in the cold weather.  My ankles are freezing and I think I will have to pop on a pair of nude stocking socks to cover my ankles before I go out again. Lol

Thanks for looking.
xxx Deborah

Please excuse the mess on the floor, I am sorting some paperwork.

Now this looks fabulous, Deborah. Love the red of the boots and the animal print on the scarf against the black. Simple and effortlessly chic. Have a great day!

I think this is just perfect.
Have you tried tucking the pants into the boots?

  • Deborah replied 8 years ago

Thanks Smittie, I might just try that.

Still love. Sigh! I was planning to say you should give up and mail the scarf to me, but I just can't. Both looks are too perfect. I can't lie...YLF!

Oh my goodness, very fab indeed!  I can't think of one thing to add to this outfit, nor one thing to remove from it.  It's perfect just as it is.

This version is great too. It is nice to see you adding some color Debs because you look radiant in deep red (and cobalt)

Love this, I don't think I commented on the red jacket thread but I liked that too.  However I think the slightly subtler red is classier in this look.

Your messy floor is my tidy floor!

    I like this better. YLF!

Great outfit again with the red booties, now curious about the cobalt ones, and more:-)) BTW I always wear nude knee highs with my booties!

    Love this look!

I like this eve better tha version 1. The scarf and booties are a beautiful match and the scarf ties the red and black together.

    Looks Fab Deborah!
I wouldn't like even a slither of ankle uncovered in this weather either-
I wear interesting soxs or nude stockings if I do this too :)

Wonderful combination.  The scarf and booties together are so stylish.  I cannot bear cold ankles so it's fun socks and unrolled pants for me....

    Fabulous.

Oh my gosh, you look gorgeous! I missed the first version as I have been travelling, but wow, this is super :)

  • Suz replied 8 years ago

Stunning!! I love love love it.

The booties work brilliantly with that scarf. I missed the first version, too, but this one is just beautiful.

I hope the colour lifts your mood!

As for bare ankles, forget it!! The people who do that in winter must live in California. Seriously -- not possible for me with an late autumn outfit, no way, no how.
