WIW : Over Christmas

Merry Christmas All.

I hope you have enjoyed your celebrations, what ever they may be.

Its been fun and busy and I managed to snap my outfits over the past few days:

#1 / #2  What I wore to our Carols Night at church.  It was hot and this was very comfortable and easy to wear.  Dressed it up with my silver/black clutch.
Kmart midi tube skirt which I am hoping to replace with a Metalicus one on Saturday when I visit their outlet :)  Katies draped blouse semi tucked into the skirt, and Django & Juliette sandals.

#3 / #4  Christmas Day at home.  This year it was just the three of us for Christmas Day (for the first time) and we loved it.  Master 11 especially was thrilled.  I still cooked for us and we sat down to lunch together and then visited DH's mum in the afternoon.  Valley Girl cream tunic worn over Metalicus dress and because it's Christmas in Australia, Ipanema 'thongs' or flip flops for my US friends.  The necklace is one I bought very recently.  It is black and silver and I love it.  It's quite long and I am wearing it here doubled.

#5 Boxing Day.  We had some of DH's family for Christmas Lunch today... his mum, brother and brothers' partner and of course Master 11.  Not too hot so we ate outside and it was lovely and relaxed.  The outfit pic isn't actually from today but this is what I wore, with the necklace as worn in #4 and silver hoop earrings.  Harem leggings are Urban Outfitters and top from Metalicus.  Target Birk-a-likes.

It has been a lovely few days, and Master 11 and I are heading to Melbourne tomorrow morning for a farewell party for his best friend who is moving to Port Macquarie (I know I am going to cry).  While he's at the party I will be meeting my sister for a coffee and shop at Moorabbin DFO!!  You will be pleased to know I have only two things I would be keen to buy at Metalicus but otherwise I have not been tempted at all by the Boxing Day / after Christmas sales :)

Thanks for looking and as always your feedback, suggestions etc much appreciated.

xxx Deborah

BTW, my DH is awesome!  For Christmas, he bought me a new Camera Lense for my Nikon.  It's a still lense? (I am still learning) and ideal for taking my outfit photos.  He also booked one on one tuition with a very good local photographer:)   I know I am very blessed to have husband that understands and encourages my very amateur interest in photography AND  my YLF activities:)

Merry Christmas Deborah! Wonderful outfits, although I must say it's weird to imagine dressing like this for Christmas! Mind you it was 13 and raining here, Also very strange. Snow is pretty much gone.

Do you mean a fixed lens? Maybe a 50mm or 35mm? Lenses are either fixed or zoom. Nice gift!

Merry Christmas! You look like an angel in your Christmas Eve outfit. I love the white drapey shirt on you. Your hair is gorgeous, and your earrings and bag are perfect with your outfit.

Fab gift from DH; enjoy using it!

Merry Christmas, Deb!  Sounds like you've had some lovely family time! Love the drape of the white tope in #1 --- the clutch is a fab touch, too.  You look chic and relaxed -- perfectly for holidays at home.

Christmas Day is over, but Boxing Day is here (it's 7.35am in Seattle). Still a Xmas day in my book. Debs, I think you might be virtually an entire day ahead of us in Oz. WOW.

You look gorgeously beautiful in #1. Killer to the power of Killer. What a way to end the year, and much love. xo

I knew nr 1 will be K2K from Angie, and you just got a K2K for the second outfit, too (from me, if that counts!:-)). I'm trilled to see you  more and more in whites,OMG, so fab, but  when did this happen???

These are all stunning outfits, Deborah. You look so gorgeous in white and black; I especially like outfits 1 and 2. The layers in 2 are so fresh and fun.

Merry Christmas, Deb, and you look radiant in your summer holiday looks. It's hard to choose one more than the other, but #3 is simply delightful. #1 is effortless beauty.

I do hope Master 11 got through his friend's departing easily (and you, too). Applauding your husband's thoughtful gift and loving support of you.
