WIW : On Leave

Hi Lovely Ladies,

If you have read my recent OT post then you know I am having a little time off work :)  Haven't felt a lot like photographing outfits but decided I should get back into it today :)

Met up with a very lovely friend today for lunch and as we are now officially in Autumn, (I wave summer off with glee) and our temps are in the low 20's, I was quite excited to get my leggings out :)  I did have to stop myself from wearing boots as it's really not THAT cool yet though lol.

Nothing new, except for maybe the sleeveless jacket which I may not have posted before (it's not new though).

Outfit is:
Jersery black leggings (cannot recall where from)
Metalicus cashmere sleeveless tunic/dress
Wishstone Sleeveless Textured Jacket
Django & Juliette Sandals
Jenna Clifford Bee necklace worn shorter than usual

Very typical outfit for me I know, but I did feel good and comfortable in it. There is a lot to be said for a FFB formula:)  This tunic / dress has been worn a lot over the summer.  Often just with bare legs and sandals.  It's been a great purchase and will transition nicely into Autumn / Winter with the right layering.

Thanks for looking and as always I appreciate your comments, suggestions, critique etc.

And thank you for always being such a beautiful and supportive group of women.

xxx Deborah

Ahhh, beautiful textures, layers, very cool sandals, and the bee necklace! What a great outfit, Deborah. Glad to see you're up to posting a WIW. Whenever you need time away, we'll still be here when you come back, eager to see what you're wearing!

I left a message over on your OT thread…
I have a feeling it's going to all work out for the best, because aside from the work issue you are in a strong and beautiful place in your life, I can see it.

What a striking outfit, you are so well put together and stylish, I am inspired!!!

The texture on the vest is just the thing.

Lunch with a dear friend is always good medicine :)  Lovely outfit, Deborah - very "you". Great tunic - structure around the neck & shoulder line, and big bold drape. The wavy lines of the textured weave put me in mind of the lines of a zebra print - probably not so much in reality! Love your bee necklace :)

Beautiful layers and textures Deb! Love the vest texture very much. I'm glad you're getting plenty of R and R and enjoying pal time. Take care.

You look lovely as always, Deborah, and I hope meeting up with your friend lifted your spirits.

Very smart outfit. I like the simple palette you wear as it works well with the drape of the fabric; not fussy, just sophisticated.

A terrific outfit. Love the texture of the vest and how it adds to the look. And I hope you are getting the rest and relaxation and reflection time you so richly deserve!

GREAT proportions. The sandals are gorgeous Debs. You should model for Helmut Lang and Rick Owens - and you know I mean that.

Glad you're having a good restful and social week. Restore and relax.

And you might be proud of me that I bought these feminine and partially black flats.

I love your new (but not new) vest.  The texture on it is very interesting.  Fun necklace too.  You are so good at layering - I should take lessons.  I hope it all works out.

Deborah - love it.  What a stunning jacket.  Adore the texture and magnificently.  Enjoy time with your friend and hope good news and only good things soon!!

Gorgeous as always.  Beautiful textures.  Love the sandals.

That outfit is so you! I find that having a good sense of myself, including my style / presentation to the world, helps me get through rough patches. The times I've felt more adrift, it's been harder. Maybe that's true of you, too? You certainly look calm, cool, and collected in your FFBO.

Sorry to be so late getting back here:)  Thanks for your lovely comments.  The textured sleeveless jacket is one of my fave's and I really must make sure I wear it more often.

Angie, love the shoes! Oh and if only Rick knew I was alive lol :)

I really like your sleeveless jacket too Deborah- the weight lends itself to more versatility I think.
YAY for this lovely mild Autumn weather too :)

love this outfit as always. The gray jacket is beautiful. Please do wear more often and I look forward to how you style it in the winter - I can just imagine the drapey fabulousness you will come up with.
