Hi Lovely Ladies!

I am heading to Melbourne today (I should be packing my overnight bag) to have lunch with one girlfriend and stay overnight with another.  My overnight hostess is a very dear friend and we have not seen one another for nearly 6 months which is not good.  I am anticipating a lovely dinner at home (she is a great cook) and a lazy evening together followed by some good catch up time in the morning.

Today I am wearing:

Cropped Ruched Pants : Rockmans
Draped Asymetric Tunic: Metalicus
Block Heeled Sandals : Rubi

I bought the Tunic over the summer holidays and this is only its second outing.  It is very sheer so I do have to wear something under it.  It's is beautifully soft and like most of their garments, it is one size fits all.
Previously I have worn it over a midi length black tube skirt to create a nice long column and I am expecting to do lots of layering with it over the cooler months.

    Thanks Am... you made my day.  I have dropped 7kg so far but while I see it in the mirror, I am not seeing it so much in my photos:(  I am greatly encouraged.  3kg to go:)

    Elizabeth, thank you!  Time with good friends is definitely good medicine. I am looking forward to a really good catch up.

    Love this, and agree with others on how fantastic you look. You have an incredible way with drape (the draw the eye upward touches in this look are amazing). You have such a strong signature look. Enjoy a well-deserved fun weekend.

    I don't know how you do it Deb but you make me LOVE all black outfits - something I find very hard to do. Love the ruched top, love the rucked pants and the black sandals - but it is YOU who really make this outfit sing!

    Breathtaking! You make me want to wear drape and ruche!. And I agree with everyone (and thought it before I read their comments) that your hard work on the weight loss is really showing. 7kg in about 2-3 months right? That's amazing!

    Thanks so much for the encouragement ladies and glad you like this combo.
    Had a lovely lunch with friend 1 and now tucked in bed at friend 2's. We had a lovely evening and a night of deep and meaningful conversation. She has just been told her contract with her employer is not being renewed, so between us we had lots of philosophical thoughts about our futures:)

    You look absolutely stunning! Gorgeous outfit on you and also very practical for travel. (I am all about the practicality when travelling, LOL.) This is very elegant, though. 

    So interesting that both you and your friend are undergoing transitions now at work. Must be something in the air. I am sure she benefitted from your wise counsel and I am so glad you are treating yourself well by visiting with loved ones as you go through your own transition.

    Beautiful Deborah - and your effort is showing in your pics very obviously to me. Good for you! It does look a bit like a jumpsuit but with more practicality. Have a wonderful time.

    I get that whole "philosophical talks about the future" thing -- it seems to happen to a lot of us. There are very few straight lines in life, but much mercy and grace in the trials!

    Love the artful drape here -- you look elegant and relaxed simultaneously.

    I'm wearing black today too -- but I'm also covered in paint!

    Hi Deborah- this must be the tunic I bought but returned later?
    It is much better in the black and layered this way- looks just right on you.

    Lyn, yes, this is the Mana Drape tunic;). I wasn't convinced it would work for me given just how sheer and body con it is, but once I tried it on, I could see so many possibilities:)

    And yes friendship is so valuable! I am very blessed to have the friends I do. We have all known each other for quite a long time now and it's a wonderful experience doing life together. The ups and the downs have only served to deepen our connections.
