  I REALLY like how you made the gray look like it was meant to be in this outfit by "bookending" it; it makes the color seem a lot less high-contrast than it would be if you only had one piece. Excellent layering!

  Oh, I adore this silhouette - it reminds me of a Jean silhouette. I love the pop of color under that sweater (or do you say jumper?). The booties are gorgeous.

  Fab look and inspirational too! I have a similar pair of shoes that I've had such a difficult time styling for some reason or another. I'll be keeping an eye out for these in future outfits!

  I love the direction of this outfit. I'm drooling over your wintery layers. (It was in the mid-90s today). The boots are fab and you will wear them to death! I like the way they pick up the color of the scarf, at least it's working on my screen.

  ETA -- OK, maybe I'm missing something but I thought a snood was something you wore on your head? So is it a head snood you have on, but are wearing it around your neck? Or am I not seeing the snood on your head? Signed, Confused about Snoods.

  Angie your killer ratiing was just a lovely start to my day...thank you. I thought i should let you know These booties are amazingly comfortable! I have been on my feet at meetings, bible study, grocery shopping and it's still a few hours before I will be taking them off and no issues at all. Even though the heel is high I tend to find a block heel very supportive and easy going..yay.

  Denise I will do some research, or perhaps Angie could enlighten us:). Here we call an unending scarf a snood. Perhaps it is derived from the original which covered the head and era Ed around the neck? I'm not sure.

  LOVE, LOVE! CL, Im with you! I thought a snood went around the back of your head, holding the hair! Was that way in the 40's in know :)
