A Girl And Her Wardrobe

WIW : Navy Drape

Hi Lovely Ladies,

This is the tunic I bought on the weekend:) I wore it with skinny jeans on Saturday to the winery and this was today for work.

Slim leg pants
Navy tunic
Navy cami
Wedge Open Toe Booties
Watch, silver rings and earrings (which look gold in the pic but are silver)

Perhaps this tunic doesn't do my hips in favours :) but the drape is quite fluid and there is some movement as I move. I think I need to buy a a short fitted slip so that the fabric doesn't 'catch' on the underlayer.

    This is lovely, the neckline falls beautifully, I really like the length and it looks perfect with the slim leg and booties :)

    I really like it Deborah. Looks just perfect for a winery - I always see lots of draping looks at those sort of places, very classy!

    I love the color on you! So glad navy is filtering down to retail in Australia.

    I love the structural non-structure on the fluid flow and shape of the neckline. Honestly, I didn't even notice any hip issues even after you points it out and I was looking (I admit, I totally look at pictures first).

    The navy and black look gorgeous together. I envy your ability to look so good in draped pieces.
    Looking at the thumbnails, I thought that the last photo was of new pointy-toed shoes. What a surprise to enlarge and find earrings!

    Lovely! No hip issues at all. I know,what you mean about knits that cling. Longer silk Camis do help one forget the garments, which is one of my primary goals -- clothes I can put on in the morning and never have to think about for the rest of the day. But back to you, great lines, great drape, great color combo, you look tall and elegant. Thank you for another inspiration! On my wish list, tunic top (or two) in this shape!

    Thanks ladies.  So glad to get your ok as the tags are well and truly off.  Heading out at lunch today to see if I can pick up a slip:)

    Lyn this is Limited Editions from Target.  I love this range.  It is supposedly a little more up market than the norm and they do some great styles.    I actually returned the draped blue Katies top because it just was not as fab as this top.
