WIW : My Week

Hi Ladies,

Here's a few outfits from this week.

It's been a bit of a busy one for me working three consecutive days this week in order to attend a scheduled Cultural Competency Training yesterday.  The upside is that I am now off work until Monday.  Nothing like a four day weekend :)

#1/#2  Monday at the office.
Black Slim Leg Pants - Katies Classic Pant
White Drape Top - Katies
Kimono - Local Store
Open Toe Ankle Boots - Rubi

#3/#4  Tuesday at the office and then to School Presentation Evening
California Wrap Vest - Metalicus (worn as dress)
Soft Touch Seamless Dress - Metalicus (not seen, under the vest)
Shooties : Rubi

I am wearing the vest slightly different to last time.  Here one side is secured at the waist and the other is drape up and secured to the shoulder.  I am completely besotted with this vest and am already looking forward to styling it for the cooler weather:)

#5 Wednesday for Training Day at Head Office
Overversized semi sheer top - local store
Black Slim Leg Pants - Katies Classic Pant (same as Monday)
Shooties  - Rubi

You have seen this one before :)

Thanks for looking and comments, critique, suggestions always much appreciated.

xxx Deborah

Gorgeous deb. I'm flying right out to steal your kimono jacket!! Also love the natural stacked heels with bracelets and necklace. It's the attention to detail that makes your outfits so stunning!

Thanks Gryffin:)  The Kimono jacket makes me realise that if I want to wear a longer style jacket it really needs to be cut similar to this and preferably in a fluid fabric....quite the revelation:)

Fabulous outfits, #5 is my favorite. Those booties are super fab!

Deb, you look absolutely beautiful. i love each of these elegant, professional, yet comfortable outfits. Wow.

The kimono jacket is just beyond brilliant on you! And I love love love those booties/ sandals. The asymmetry of the dress and the top are absolutely stunning. Yes, I have a strong sugar eye for that, but even so -- it looks wonderful.

Wow X 3. My favorite is the first outfit with the kimono jacket, but I love this sort of jacket. Each looks perfectly styled?

You look stunning in #1. Killer look on you, Debs. I love the addition of the white and the patterned kimono. Gorgeous. xo

Lovely as always! Your eye for drape is really spot on. The kimono jacket is really fun, and the outfit looks great (so much not-black going on! ;) ). LOVE the look of the draped vest over the dress in 3/4, very clever.

    Great looks Deborah.  I love #1 :)

Wow, three gorgeous outfits, Deb! More love for the kimono, it's stunning on you. I especially love the dress/vest combination. The draping and asymmetrical lines add so much visual interest to the look. Coveting your top in #3. A great week of work clothes. Enjoy your long weekend!

You have such a signature style.  Love all of these.  Wish black photographed better so I could see details and texture more clearly but I will have to imagine the goodness.

Three winners Deborah! I really love the vest you chose, the Kimono is fabulous and your third outfit bears many repeats!

  • SarahTheWhite replied 9 years ago

Wow! Thee are so great! Be kimono jacket is so gorgeous, and as much as I love the black, I enjoy the pop of white on you from time to time. And #5 is stunning! If I had to pick a favorite, that would be it. :-)

You always look FAB! The first and last outfit are my favorites. The additions of white make the black look more polished for some reason.

I look forward to seeing all your creative vest stylings.

I love the white and black combo addition to your style and in a kimono, fantastic!  You are so in your lane with style and keep tweaking with a few surprises that are a delight!

Your vest is such a clever piece!
I can see it working all year round, with a skinny pant and topper in Winter, and as you are wearing here in Summer.
    Happy Long Weekend :)

Love, love, love the kimono jacket on you.

  • Mochi replied 9 years ago

Love them all. The last outfit's especially killer to me.

That black/white kimono is definitely one of my favorite pieces in your closet. It looks fabulous each and every time you wear it.

I'm so impressed with how cohesive your wardrobe is Deb - I honestly think every item can mix and match with every other item. I know you've worked hard to get to this place with your closet so huge applause :)

  • Elizabeth P replied 9 years ago

    FAB FAB FAB.
Wow.  Shannon is so right, the cohesiveness is impressive.  It's hard to beleive your closet is "minimal".  Hmm... maybe it isn't, maybe you're lying to us....  :)

The clothes are good, but your hair is awesome.  :)

There are all very stylish to my eyes. I love nr 1 because of the adition of whites, but that vest  in nr 3-4 has the most gorgeous drape indeed. And tha last one is the simpliest but most interresting all blacks from a while. These are all your signitures:-).

  • kkards replied 9 years ago
