  Congratulations Mom of a teen!  (I became one last fall, and just had my third child enter the double-digits.  I'm not ready for three kids over 10).

  You look wonderful - I love the tonal grey looks, especially for the hot days.  And you rock them.  I envy your style and the panache you have to carry it off!

  Deborah, you look gorgeous in the tonal grays! The skirt is so amazing--what a great style, and you wear it well. Only because you asked--I might like the grays better without the black layer in between, and showing off more of the skirt. The necklace and sandals would still go nicely, bookending each other.

  You have such a signature style, and I love this outfit. I happen to like the black making a horizontal line under the asymetrical top and over the voluminous skirt.  I think it works well!
  I have boys, and the teen years were not too bad.   Older son is 21 in 3 weeks, and younger is 17, so I think we've weathered the worst of adolescence. I wouldn't change a thing and I would have every day all over again.    Hope Master 13 has a wonderful day/year!

  Happy belated Birthday! My older son is 13 and turns 14 soon!! So far all is going smoothly.

  I love the look- fab skirt and sandals. I would also be interested to see it without the black layer- I like it a lot as is too though.
