WIW : Keeping Cool in Metalicus

Hi Lovely Ladies,

For those of you freezing, I am sorry but I am a little envious, as we are sweltering in the humid Aussie heat.

I don't think I have shared this skirt with you yet.  I bought it over the Christmas / New Year break. It's cut and sewn in a way that creates a really cool shape with lovely drapes. The top is cropped but with the skirt I thought it looked better with a little tuck.

Skirt :  Metalicus Henley Drape Skirt
Top :  Otto Mode Tshirt
Flip Flops : Myer
Earrings : Gift from BFF

Not sure if the proportions will be everyone's cup of tea but I like them.  It'a a very light and breezy combination and quite comfortable for today's temps.

What are your thoughts?  JFE?

BTW.. that's a nurf bullet on the floor!  A remnant of Master 12's belated birthday party yesterday:)

    You look great, Deborah! There's a hint of Greek Goddess here, but a very modern version. I really like the draping effects in the skirt, and echoed in the semi-tucked top.
    And glad you explained the nerf bullet--it did catch my eye, and I wondered what it was!

    This is wonderful. Great look. I'd want to have several different sandals for this look! And I plan to make several sandals purchases!

    Cool and breezy!

    Funny about the nerd bullets. When we moved last year, we were finding those nerf bullets in the craziest places!! Lol :)

    Love the skirt Deborah.  To be honest, I'm not crazy about the way the tuck of the shirt looks,but could easily just be the way/angle of the photograph.  Maybe if it were tucked in a bit looser? 

    And great earrings!

    Elizabeth yes I think you are right.  The top did pull out and got retucked a few times during the course of the day.  I need to be aware of that next time I tuck :)  Thanks.

    Tell me about the humidity Deborah!
    This top looks 'cool' with the draping, and the grey gives the skirt a Summery feel.
    A couple of cooler days here last week had me looking forward to cooler weather ahead :)

    I had a cat who used to chase and fetch those nerf bullets. Made it so easy to play with him!

    Not JFE but very cool skirt, and edgy outfit! Love the grey top and the  sandals, too!:- )Oh, and those earings, a masterpiece!
