WIW : Harem Style

Hi Fabbers!

I hope you don't get sick of seeing these....I LOVE my harems SO much!

Today's outfit was worn to finish decorating our church Christmas Tree, lunch with my MIL and SIL and then preparations for our involvement in an annual swap meet here in Bendigo this weekend.

The outfit is my harem leggings from Urban Outfitters, Metalicus Columbus Crop Tee and Django and Juliette sandals.

I really like the proportions of this outfit and the cut of this tee. Happiness factor is of the chart:)

Thank you for looking. Comments, critiques etc much appreciated.

xxx Deborah

I love the proportions too Deb. The drape of your tee is smashing, the way it scoops up in the middle adds structure, Very nice!

Deb - I'm in my skirted leggings today, which kind of remind me of this in the photo - maybe it's the vibe- but anyway love them on you.  Looks great.  Elegant, beautiful and edgy!  I really like how your minimal accessories - really enhance the outfit.  The seaming in the top is lovely but your pearl continue the line -uber elegant and the bracelets, fab sandals and even your manicure really give polish (;-)  to the style.  Incredible detail and very effective!

    Speechless…….
this is so perfect. love the drapeyness, the simple black and white and the perfection of the proportions.

Wow! Deborah- you rock those harems! Beautiful lines and perfect proportions here. Your mastery over the harem is remarkable. This is a one photo tutorial.

The proportions of this outfit are spot on Deb.  Both pieces have loads of volume, but drape and hang so well they don't look oversized.  Gorgeous look for you!

No one mentioning the shoes? They look ultra comfortable and still super stylish.

Or the leather band/arm candy? Wow. love your outfits!

Another fantastic one Deborah.  Proportions are nailed.  And nope, will never tire of the harems on you.... they are so... you. :)

Even though I'm not typically a harem fan, I think you rock them like no one's business! This is such a perfect outfit on you, right down to that necklace.

    I echo what Janet said.

You look great in this combination. It's fabulous for spring-into-summer. And yeah, I am with Jurocha on the sandals. Those are really cool.

Great outfit, you look cozy yet polished.  Are these the same harem leggings I have?

Thank you! I am so thrilled you like this! I will definitely be repeating this, infact I would love to wear it again today lol, but I am seeing the same people today:).

The sandals were a Christmas present from DH last year and they are these

but I think black may be sold out. They have done a variation on the style this year http://www.styletread.com.au/petrol-black.html

I was in love with LD Tuttle The Watch sandal which were out of my price range and was thrilled when I found these.

Denise, yes I think you got these ones too. They have the patterned waist band. I simply fold the band over on the inside so it can't be seen. Mine were too big so I had my seamstress take in the leg but left the waist band as is and it just sits nicely on the top of my hip. I am considering a second pair that Caro posted Thursday from French Connection that are more a pant than a legging :). Are you enjoying yours?

  • AJ replied 9 years ago

The pants are not my thing, BUT I admire your confidence and your joy radiates in the photo.  That looks like a comfy outfit for a warm day.  Those sandals are FAB.

Oooooooh I love it all too! Of course your happiness was off the charts! The sandals have me drooling. I just love the cool-slouchy vibe of this. You wear it well. Wear it and repeat often :)
