Hi Ladies,
I was inspired by Angie's blog post to wear my harems today. I wore this to the office and I must admit the harem pants were not quite warm enough :). The sweater has a high / low hemline and a split at the back.

I really love these on you! That modern style is really great. Love the blue too and the necklace - I think I need one of those!
I was waiting for your take! Fabulous as always, live the modern asymmetrical sweater.
Well, you know I"m going to love it :) The hi-lo sweater shape works so well with these pants doesn't it.
Seems so funny to see you in sweater and boots when I'm FINALLY pulling out the sleeveless tops!
I love this look Deb! Gorgeously fab!
(BTW, I already saw it on Instagram :) I joined a few days ago and follow you now, hehe)
Great look! So sophisticated with the blue top and the sleek boots.
It always takes me a moment to "translate" Aussie seasons. As in......"what does she mean, they weren't warm enough." We're dealing with sticky hot days, followed by threats of severe storms with hail, lightening and flooding in the evenings....... Hemispheres are funny like that.
I've favorited your post this morning. I think this blue is the perfect offset to black. It's darker than cobalt and, while I love cobalt and black, this deep but intense blue seems to be a far more sophisticated pairing. Love it!
Stunning as always Deborah.
Love that sweater on you. How were they not warm enough? Those are leaves on that tree/bush, right? ;)
Gorgeous! Could you add dark tights underneath to make the harems warmer? I was thinking that I would try that with mine this fall/winter. Hope it works! :)
I think tights could be a good option for the cold under these:). Lol I can imagine you must have thought me a little crazy... I forget it's warm where many of you are. We are experiencing our true winter at the moment and it tends to require many layers xxx
I like the way you have styled them here. I also haven't been wearing mine much because they are of a light fabric and it's too cold here..I imagine I'll get a lot of wear out of them in spring and summer.
Stunning! Perfectly fits your style, too.
You look amazing! I love how the shirt hemline echoes the line of the harem pants. The blue is gorgeous on you and you styled it perfectly!
What did you wear under the knit Deborah?
This looks so good, must wear mine again soon :)
Ahh, perfection! This cropped, curved-hem top works so beautifully with the pants, and I love the booties with the outfit. Also great pick on the long statement necklace.
I can affirm that tights under the harem pants work well for adding some warmth; I've worn mine that way.
Beautiful. Love the blue top. Such an interesting blue, and works well with the black, as Beth Ann said.
Great look Deborah. I love that blue with the black. Great necklace.
Sorry to hear that you felt chilled, but you totally nailed the look. I knew it would be good when I clicked on your thread, and you exceeded my expectations!
Oh, I am loving this outfit. I have a pair of harem pants that look almost identical to these and I have always worn them only with a tucked in top. You've given me some good inspiration here!
Beautiful, especially with your necklace that echoes the rounded curves of the harems and sweater. Hope you added this to the harem inspiration thread.
I love they way you paired those pants. This outfit is great
I am definitely going to copy this outfit when it gets cooler here. That blue sweater is such a fantastic color, and the necklace is perfection.
Have you discovered the tights/leggings with the fleece lining? Perfect layering for cold weather. Some brands stretch better than others.
I love that top on you-the curved hem, the beautiful color. Gorgeous harem outfit. It makes me want to pair my harems with ink blue as well.
You look amazing!
Wonderful. And I've been lurking and silent for several weeks. But you continue to be a style inspiration! Just wanted to say hello.
That blue is divine! A great look.
Here in Brisbane it seems winter might be over. Back to sandals today to run up to the shops, though my office is cool, so I might be able to get away with boots for a couple more weeks :)
This is perfection! I love navy and black and need to remember to wear it together more often...
