WIW : Greyscale With a Touch of Cobalt

Hi Ladies,

Taking time out from stressing about my wedding guest outfit (lol) to post todays outfit for the office.

It's cooler today so I can finally wear sleeves...yay!

These camouflage skinnies were purchased last year and I have worn them a lot but never posted them. They are grey toned which I prefer to khaki. I think the jacket looks a bit heavy but it came off at the office.

The wedge sandals are old but I love them.

Thanks for looking
xxxDeborah

Great look, Deborah. I like the dressier blouse with the more casual pant. You look so stylish. Cobalt really is your color!

I'm loving your camo skinnies. I wear my shoes like you do, no matter old I just keep resoling them.

  • Raisin replied 11 years ago

Wow Deborah, I never knew camo could look so good. They grey pairs perfectly with the cobalt.

LOVING the colour combination and the camo pants! Wild :)

Are we going to ask what DH thinks of this incredible outfit? xo

  • Deborah replied 11 years ago

No Angie, we are not lol. DH is already in Melbourne for the wedding so he won't see this today. This blouse has kind of been on hold because it's one of the ones he wasn't so keen on... but hey I like it :) Glad you like the colour combo, I took a bit of a punt:)

Hubby doesn't like that blouse? Wow. I am sorry, hubs, but it looks great on you!!

Fun combination with the trousers. And I love the sandals, too. You were smart to hang onto them.

  • Deborah replied 11 years ago

Suz, his comment related to my wearing it with my white jeans, and I have to admit it wasn't my favourite combo either but it made me a bit sensitive about the blouse :). But you know the saying, while the cat's away ....

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

Ah! When DH is away, the style can REALLY play.

    have fun :)

I love this outfit! The cobalt works so well with the camo, in its unexpected gray.

It's a wonderful outfit on you. I wouldn't have thought you'd like camo but it sure suits you.

Who knew camo could look so good?

  • carolbee replied 11 years ago

This outfit looks good, you could almost make me change my mind about camo pants, lol. But I have to ask, how do you walk in those shoes, there is hardly anything holding them on your feet?, I can see why you've kept them, they are lovely, your feet look very elegant.

  • annagybe replied 11 years ago

    OOh I like this!

  • Jaime replied 11 years ago

Beautiful top and it looks great combined with the grey jeans. I think you need to give DH another chance to love this blouse!

  • Nicole D replied 11 years ago

Smart and I love the camo! Just plain fab.

  • Transcona Shannon replied 11 years ago

YOWZA! This is so fab on you Deb - love everything about it.

What an inspiration! You make me want to run right out and get a pair of camo skinnies. WOW -- I love this. I love the edge and sophistication all wrapped up in one and the shoes are just the cherry on top (as a shoe lover that was the first pic I enlarged). FABULOUS!

Nice pieces - I love the mix - so unexpected but right:)

  • rae replied 11 years ago

OMGyouaretotallyrockingthosecamopants! Having a mini fashion stroke here... so cool with the refined wedges. :D

  • CocoLion replied 11 years ago

I love the camo pants! And wearing cobalt with grey is simply stunning. Is there anything that does not look chic with grey? I was saying over on MaryK's WIW that I have had a 2 year love affair with grey, and it's still going strong. Grey is so Maj! (Yes I'm watching Rachel Zoe again.)

And look at your beautiful feet/pedi!

Deb in colors is equally good as Deb in killer blacks :)
    Love it Deb

  • Hil replied 11 years ago

What a fabulous look! Totally rocking the camo and cobalt! And I love your pretty toes! Have fun at the wedding dear Deborah! x

  • lyn67 replied 11 years ago

Absolutely fab! Who knew camo can make such an outfit! Love the greys for camo, much better than the greens IMHO, too. Such a rebel outfit, sorry Hubs, we LOVE it:-)

  • Lyn D. replied 11 years ago

I LOVE seeing you rock a more casual outfit like this Deborah!
Were the skinnies a planned buy or did you just try them for fun?
Either way you have managed to make them your own for sure!
Yay for cooler weather at last!

  • texstyle replied 11 years ago

I really love this too - the perfect way to dress up camo and those sandals are great, I can see why you love them.

  • Tina.b replied 11 years ago

I love the pairing of the cobalt and blue. And the more refined blouse with the camo pants. Makes an interesting and edgy combination. Gorgeous outfit!

  • harmonica replied 11 years ago

    so effortless and cool!

and fun to think that you are happy to escape sleeveless while here at the north i can't wait to get warm days to come :-) last summer was a disaster - couldn't wear shorts or summerdress more than maybe a couple of days

  • Jonesy replied 11 years ago

I agree that you look fab, and hubby's 100% wrong about the blue top! I am not a fan of camo in general, but you look very sophisticated and chic.

  • Mona replied 11 years ago

Deborah, you look so beautiful in this cobalt blouse. Pairing the drapey blouse with camo skinnies is ultra fab.
