WIW for Interviewing & Training

Hi Ladies,

Busy day at work today, and feeling a little more inspired than yesterday:). I love the comfort of waist surrendering outfits so today was a good day to bring out this new oversized hi low blouse.

Wearing Ponte Black Pencil Skirt
Striped blouse with black sleeves
Suede Boots
Boyfriend Jacket
Hand Made Pendant

Thanks for looking.

Have a lovely day:)
xxx Deborah

Very sharp Deborah! I love the black and white (or cream) top and bag! The pendant adds a lot, not just your signature red but a cool oriental vibe with the cherry (?) blossoms. Is it enamel? Very, very pretty. Have a good training day! I'm sure you'll hold everyone's attention in that fab outfit!

Thanks Claire. The pendant was made by a friend of my sisters. Its paper under resin and I love cherry blossoms. She does really lovely work and custom made my black and white polka dot earrings too.

How's the weather your way.. any better?

This is a gorgeous outfit Deborah. You wear this silhouette so beautifully. And the pendant and handbag are the absolutely perfect accessories.

  • Jyoti replied 11 years ago

So, so chic. I love the silhouette you've created and I think you've really got the waist surrendering down! Love the classic colours too!

Graphic classic! I love this, Deborah.

Looks great both with and without the jacket and the bag is the perfect addition.

    Nice!

    Lovely outfit.

It's great how your knees between the black boots and black skirt actually echo the cream stripes on your top and in the rest of your outfit. It's so harmonised...

Another classic look. Love that boyfriend jacket - in fact love everything and the pendant is the perfect finishing touch.

  • ManidipaM replied 11 years ago

Strong and super, just like you! Adore the pendant and rather taken with the bag as well.

Lovely as usual Deborah! I am glad you are feeling better now, I fear it is my turn now- full-on runny nose etc. kicked in today. At least with the school Hols. there is not so much rushing around at the moment.
The necklace is a real statement and unique piece.

Thank you all. It's been a crazy day at work but I felt smart and fresh all day:). I'm looking forward to trying this blouse over my white jeans in Spring.

Lyn so sorry to hear you have "the bug":(. I have had it for three weeks and it just runs you down. Take care and I really hope it doesn't linger x. In fact here's hoping it doesn't develop at all;)

    Love it Deborah!!!

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

I LOVE that you left off the black hose. The outfit looks softer that way. Very nice :)

Debs! You need more non-black jackets.

  • Deborah replied 11 years ago

Angie you are right! I am constantly on the lookout but there is so much black in our stores. There seems to be a lot more in the way of color choice in the US:(. However I'm in Melbourne for the weekend and if all goes well I'm coming home with a RED jacket cut like my lovely brown one... fingers crossed :)

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

You look lovely and chic as always!

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

My fingers are crossed! I bet there will be loads of colour down in Oz for Spring :)

  • Katiepea replied 11 years ago

Deborah, you look wonderful! I love the boots with the skirt with just the touch of skin. And your necklace is divine!

  • Lyn D. replied 11 years ago

Oh Deborah, I saw a presenter on the 'Sunrise' show this morning, noticed her red jacket and immediately thought of you! She has similar colouring and wore it with a plain cream scarf and what looked like cream leather gloves. (They were filming outdoors.) Try Myer and DJ and hopefully you will find something great! BTW, if you are still contemplating BF jeans, Gap are at Melbourne Central Station on the street level near the big clock. Have a lovely weekend!
P.S. Veronica Maine is also there, worth checking out too.

  • Deborah replied 11 years ago

Lyn that sounds like Melissa Doyle:). I missed Sunrise this morning. Im on a bit if a flying visit to Melbourne for a Specialist appt but appreciate the recommendations. The red jacket I'm hoping to bring home us one my sister bought but hasn't worn!! Next time I'm down for a few days I will let you know. It would be lovely to meet for a coffee and maybe even a shop:) x

  • Lyn D. replied 11 years ago

I'd love to do that Deborah, and I hope that your appointment goes as expected. How nice to have a sister for clothes-sharing!

  • goldenpig replied 11 years ago

You are the queen of black and white! Love the graphic stripes. The cherry blossom pendant is so cool too! I'm crossing my fingers for you to find your red jacket because you do red white and black so well. You are also my waist surrendering guru too! Love your slouchy sweaters over slim skirts.

  • CocoLion replied 11 years ago

Another exceptional look from Deborah! You look really, really good in black. It looks so chic and elegant on you. And you are the Queen of team hi-low top!

  • Ornella replied 11 years ago

I love the simplicity of the outfit and how it feels sharp and relaxed at the same time. The fact there are no black tights balances nicely the freshness of the striped top and your bright haircolor too. Of course I immediately fell for the pop of red in the B&W outfit, and I particularly like how the pendant and your lipstick compliment each other.
