WIW : Floral Jacket

Hi Ladies

Trust you are having a wonderful day:)

Insanely busy day at work and this is the first quiet moment today, so sitting waiting to go into a meeting and thought I would quickly post;). Gotta grab the time when you can!

Inspired by Shannon, http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-of-animal I grabbed my slouchy pants today. I am still getting used to the silhouette created by these. They seem to accentuate the hip area and I'm still working out the best option for toppers.

Today I'm trying a silver grey blouse tucked, with my new floral blazer and shooties.

Pretty simple look, accessorised with silver ring and silver and pearl multi strand necklace.

Appreciate your feedback. I'm only about
50 % confident on how to wear these pants.

xxx Deborah

    KILLER

I hope that increases your confidence level in this outfit!

How lovely to see your Spring flowers amongst our Autumn foliage. Love the lighter colours right up by your pretty face, Debs :)

That absolutely increases my confidence Angie.. bless you.
I have been paying special attention to how Shannon wears hers to get a feel for shapes, lengths etc and getting the proportions to be flattering. xx

I thought the same thing - spring flower. Aren't they comfy?

I'm still trying to figure out how slouchy pants should look, especially if they are not jeans, Deborah, thank you for posting this outfit. An excellent example really helps.

Hi Deborah, I think that this works due to the slouch at the ankle. My eye was drawn to your shoes, then of course to your face and top half.
    Love that jacket!!

Deborah, the jacket is great and you look nice. How about adding a fuchsia scarf?

Caro, slouchy pants are so comfy? They feel quite different to my other pants.

Joy, thank you, I a. Still working through styling these. I am keeping my eyes open for other forum members wearing these. Toppers are my biggest challenge here.

Thanks Lyn, it helps to know what you see and where your eye is drawn to.

Asingh, fuchsia would be lovely. It's. to a color I have but I would be open to keeping an eye out for something.

Deborah: Love this! I love the ease and softness of the slouchies (kind of masculine/feminine) with the subtle shine of the top. The color lights up your face! The jacket is such a sophisticated take on floral.

As for the hips ----- the proportions make you look tall and curvy, and very long-legged. All good things!

This is a great example of how to wear slouchy. You look terrific and everything looks exactly right - the bunchy ankles, the length of the jacket, the long necklaces, and of course your gorgeous face and hair on top.

Well hello there pretty lady! I am humbled to have inspired you in any way Deborah.

This looks so good on you it's crazy! It's the scrunch at the ankle that really makes it work. The drape of those trousers is beautiful and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE that blazer on you! So pretty.

Carry on with your fabulous self...

These trousers drape so beautifully! Love the outfit Deborah, I say wear with confidence! I tried my own black pleated trousers this morning after seeing this but alas the drape just isn't up to par and I must replace them. I hope I can find some as fab as these!

Gorgeous jacket and the slouch factor just above the shooties makes this outfit magic.

Like Aida, I tried some slouchy pants, but didn't feel very successful with the look either. I think I'm missing the bunching at the ankles. I love the jacket on you, and agree that a nice colorful scarf would be great.
