WIW: Dinner With DH & DS

Hi Girls,

End of Term today and Master 9 came home with a very good term report. So we thought that was a good reason to go and have dinner at one of our favourite local eateries:)

It's is icy cold here tonight so my main priority was warmth, so I wore a black sweater dress with a long sleeve striped top layered underneath, opaque tights, boots and then a coat and wool scarf to get there and back!

This dress tends to accentuate my apple tummy, but it's comfortable and warm (did I mention it's cold here) :).

Thought I would share one of my "out takes" - #2 - Master 9 loves sabotaging my pics!

    I love the outtake too! And a great clean, chic, streamlined Deborah outfit too! Something so snappy about the kitty bag and stripey cuffs together accentuating the simple, solid silhouette.

    I too love the bag and stripey sleeves combined with the simple black silhouette.
    The whole outfit has a chic casual air about it.
    Great outtake! My 8yr old is just the same, but we wouldn't have them any other way eh?

    You look lovely Deborah - I really like that handbag with the sweater dress and the subtle pattern mixing with the stripes. I see no tummy issues - just an incredibly stylish lady!

    You look so stylish, warm and pretty and congratulations to Master 9 on his outstanding school performance. At first I thought he was holding one of your red clutches to help you decide on a purse. Love both and the b&w bag is lovely.

    Is Master 9 doing his best Angus Young look? Somehow I can see Angus looking like that at end of term time.

    Diane, you are right! Wouldn't habit any other way. He is a huge blessing:)

    Shannon you are very sweet! I'm am worrying less and less about my tummy! But it's nice to hear that maybe I notice it more than others do;)

    Vicki, Master 9 is "clutching" his new IPad (we have all just updated to the IPad 3). His favourite color is red!

    Julie as I typed I was thinking about those of you who live in "really cold parts of the world:). But it's all relative I suppose. I feel the cold and wear I currently live is colder than we're I grew up, but I don't think we need puffer jackets here:). Like the AC/DC reference Julie:). But I think Master 9 is cuter than Angus lol.

    What I didn't say is DH was also running in front of me. My boys think that's very funny. DH was disappointed he didn't get in a photo:)
