WIW: Corporate Me;)

Hi Ladies.

I know I showed you this dress when I bought it but this is the first outfit I have posted with it.

I had a crazy day at work today with a teleconference, external meeting and training so I wanted to look a little business-y, not to mention comfortable!

This dress is possibly my favourite wardrobe piece. I wear it weekly and it can be styled for work, casual..anything really... I love it:)

Today, I went with the dress under a draped but structured jacket, black tights and suede boots. Silver accessories and grey nails.

Floppy hair today...went a bit crazy with the conditioner lol.

What say you? Ok?

Thanks for looking and I do hope all the black isn't getting to boring.

Great creative corporate outfit, how could this be  boring AT ALL????:-)

  • replied 6 years ago

Oh, so flattering! I love the drape and boldness. Perfectly accessorised by the necklace, earrings and nails.

Never boring, always creative and beautiful! This looks like a great dress for work, casual, and dressy events!

Another beautifully put together outfit, Deborah! The soft structure of the jacket subdues the full drapes of the dress while the suede boots add texture to the all black ensemble!!!

  • Debra replied 6 years ago

What a great dress ;) I love that jacket too, it goes perfectly, and the texture of the suede boots is just the finishing touch. Looking good :)

Deborah - wonderful outfit.  Love that dress on you and perfect with the jacket and boots.  I really, really like the pendant with this, but that got me thinking, do you have one that comes down even longer?  Almost to the bottom stance on the jacket?  I think that might be almost the perfect golden mean.  It might be even more dramatic - but that is gilding the lily!!  It's fab just as it is ;-)

  • kkards replied 6 years ago

corporate with a twist. i really like how the layers and the twist of the dress add dimension and drama!

  • Deborah replied 6 years ago

Gryffin, yes! I agree a longer pendant would be best...I grabbed this one as I was ring out the door;). Will try another next time:)

Very dramatic but quietly so. Very chic. Love it!

Fantastic outfit! I can see why you love this dress!

You look so good in that outfit. It is formal, yet the drape adds a fun element to it & keeps it from getting too severe. Ohh, and I love the red lippie! I love it when people use makeup as an additional accessory to their outfits.

Love the dress and jacket together! The necklace and red lips also brighten it just enough.

Gorgeous!  Professional yet displays your usual edginess.

You are one of a kind, Deb! :)

  • Janet replied 6 years ago

I love it. Professional, yet still very Deborah!

    Scores a 10 from me!

It is weird to see the head to toe black, and boots, now that my head is getting into white and colour for our summer! :)

This is gorgeous Deb :) That dress is just spectacular on you and I like the arty tonal layering. You look comfortable and ready for business.

  • Thistle replied 6 years ago

    Dramatic and still professional. perfect!

  • Aida replied 6 years ago

Gorgeous as always! That is an amazing dress, the draping is super on it. I'd be curious to see one of your casual stylings with it :)

A beautiful professional look, Deborah. I like how the jacket frames the drapes of the dress. Like fuzzylogic, I really like the texture added by the suede boots, too.
