WIW : Community Meal

Happy Wednesday Fabbers!

Wednesdays is the Community Meal I co-ordinate and while I still like to 'dress up' I need to be comfortable, and be prepared to get a bit grubby (clothes that can be thrown in the wash at the end of the day).

Our weather has warmed up again so this dress is perfect for a busy day. Nothing exciting, I know I have posted it before, but I think last time was with leggings. This time keeping it simple, dress (Warwick Jones) and sandals (Django & Juliette) accessorised in #2 by our very stylish (??) Community Meal apron (well it is black!)

Thanks for looking. Im booked in for a cut and colour on Friday so please excuse the well overdue hair

xxx Deborah

LOL and yes I am as tired as I look:)

Well, I hope Thursday is a rest-day for you?
I get to wear an apron too at the Salvos- bright red!
Looks like the warm weather will be with us for a little while longer- your sandals are perfect.
We don't have to wear frumpy footwear  to be comfortable, just need to find the right shoes.

Nice sandals. Perfect for a day of running around. And the apron matches ... Yippee! ;)

    Gorgeously simple :)

Simple and chic!!  Also looks cool for the roasty, toasty kitchen work.  Djdyou have input into the apron design and color!!  Perfect!!  Great sandals and love the pop of the white watch!!  What a great thing to do!

The watch and sandals are the perfect pop for your simple black dress. Very chic indeed!

Simplicity at its gorgeous best! And I don't think you look tired but do get some rest :)

You look so pulled together....is this a volunteer position? Either way you look just fab to be helping out for your community meal! I am going to start upping my game for my volunteer activities....you've inspired me!

I like your outfit head to toe, simple, but seems comfy, and it even goes well with the appron, which-can you believe-I also like! (It's edgy in black and gives some more structure to the outfit:-)).

LOL! I first thought it's another avantgarde clothing item-like a very wide cloth belt with an embroidery, or so-then read the description only to find out it's an appron :-))

Love this! You look like you will be cool and reasonably comfortable for a hot day on your feet and looking stylish. Those you serve will appreciate not just the food, but the fact that you dressed up.

You know I was reading your post and thinking how much I liked your hair and then saw your apology - can't wait to see what you look like after a cut & colour because I thought you looked pretty good before.

    Fab. The sandals are awesome.

  • qfbrenda replied 10 years ago

I love that. Summer dressing is so simple: dress + sandals = done.

  • Debora replied 10 years ago

Love that your apron is color coordinated! You are as fabulous and chic as always.

  • Aida replied 10 years ago

Looks perfectly comfy and breezy! Bonus that the apron also works so very well with this dress ^^

Love these Community Meal posts, Deborah. And your hair looks good no matter what :-)

  • catgirl replied 10 years ago

Wonderful.  If I lived in a summer climate I'd wear something like this often - looks so easy and edgy.
