WIW : Casual Saturday

Hi Lovely Ladies,

I seem to be quite sparse on the forum at the moment and I really miss being part of all the conversations.  My MIL has just come home from hospital, and Master 12 was off school last week with a bug.   I have been reading posts on my phone, on the go, but just not able to comment.  I know I don't  have to explain my absence but your are all important to me and I really hate not having time for the forum.

So, Master 12 is better, it's Saturday, and I am about to spend an hour catching up:)  Boy do I need a style fix:)  And some chocolate wouldn't go astray either lol

Today's outfit is for relaxing at home:)  All black with a hint of white (sneaks) and navy (tank) :)

Sweater : Big W
Tank : ??
Jeggings : Target
Sneaks : Target

Hope you all having a good weekend and thanks for the wonderful inspiration your all provide each and every day :)

xxx Deborah

You look uber stylish even when relaxing at home. Love the sneakers!

Hope your MIL and son feel better soon. Have a relaxing weekend Deb!

I'm with Maneera. You look fab even when relaxing at home.

I hope it's starting to warm up for you. It's still quite chilly here at night. I'm sitting here typing in my uggs (how very bogan...lol).

You definitely do not look like you need a style fix, you look beautiful and perfectly appropriate for a casual weekend.  I love the tank peeping out of the bottom of your sweater to break up the column of black. I hope you get to enjoy some chocolate.

You're always so polished & gorgeous Deborah ☺
And this look is no different, you look super stylish even in such a casual get up... I love the cobalt peeking through and how well the slip in tie the look together!
Hope your son & mil have a speedy recovery... have a wonderful weekend ☺

    Thanks Maneera:)

CocoC, tomorrow is supposed to be 24 degrees!! I will believe it when I see it.  It is still cool here.

Bijou, thanks, I did get chocolate!! Too much lol.

Ankita, thank you!  I am not sure that I have welcomed you to Forum?  I have been reading your posts but struggled to find the time to comment. So enjoying your style journey:)  Love having you and Maneera here, you are both such  beautiful and positive woman xx

I wondered if it was getting warmer for you! I hope your DS and MIL are bock to 100%again soon. I've also been reading much more than posting.....
I love that curved hem, so flattering.

Wow.  Your casual look is beyond fabulous.  I need to start taking lessons from you.

I have all of the components you are wearing in your post.  I am sitting here imaging me putting them together and wondering if I would feel as fabulous as you look?  I think the difference is that your top seems to cover our butt and mine are a little to short.  Maybe that is why I never quite feel right in similar outfits.  I need to play with proportions.

    Love this! :-)

I am not used to seeing you so casual Deborah but you do it very well.  I really like the bit of blue peeking out and the glimpse of skin at the ankle.  :)

I hope your life slows down a bit so you can catch up.

  • dakotacheryl replied 8 years ago

Such a comfortable combo...love the little peak of blue!!  I look like a pet hair lint brush if I try to wear black at home LOL.

Deborah - you always look amazing even when you are "chilling" out!!  Sorry to hear about MIL (but hope she's on the mend) and master 12.  Winter is rough on the immune system.  Last year was particularly bad here so crushing that warm is coming to you since it's leaving us.  Hope you get a chance to relax and recoup but you always look fabulous doing it!!  Sending healthy karma your way and wishes for lots of dark chocolate with oodles of antioxidants!! ;-)

You know you have a well-honed wardrobe when you can look this great at home.  If you're like me, however, you'll get dirty from cooking, cleaning, etc., and find yourself constantly laundering these clothes!

    Super cute.

  • Aida replied 8 years ago

Exactly how I'd expect casual-Deborah to look ^^ Fab as ever. Love those sneaks on you. The white sole is especially graphic against all your black!

  • Debora replied 8 years ago

What a great casual look, Deborah. Love the proportions!

Echoing everyone else: No way do I ever look this stylish when I'm relaxing at home (I might get chocolate on my clothes, after all). I just love the fab pop of cobalt peeking under your top. It's such a Deborah touch! Glad your son's feeling better -- and you're still setting the screen time example (and in glad you're dropping in on your phone, I miss you when you're gone!).
