WIW: Casual Friday

Hi Ladies, I really felt to dress casual today and for some reason last night, fixated on my old grey boyfriend cardigan. Is this style cardigan dated?? The outfit was designed around the cardi :)

Camo pants, coral blouse, black booties and new Karen Walker necklace. I felt quite ok in this and enjoyed the slight slight change of silhouette.

This was worn for bible study in my home and then just some running around and grocery shopping.

What do you think. Should I keep the cardigan, or has it had it's day? (FYI it is a wool blend and has held it's shape, has no 'balling' and looks as good as when I first bought it).

 Thanks
 xxx Deborah

I hope it isn't dated. I think it's a great casual topper for you. It looks great with the camo and color. Fun outfit!

I love this look!  It is actually a look I see alot around here, so I say keep that cardi!  Cool necklace

I feel like the slouchy boyfriend cardigans are trending right now. It's the drapey waterfall cardigans that are starting to look a bit dated to my eye.

I think you look modern and comfy in this outfit. Love the camo and the pop of color in your shirt!

I likey!  The cardigan seems right for the current slouchy trend.  I don't think I've seen your camo pants before...unexpected but so fun with the coral blouse to brighten up the somber neutrals.  Nicely styled!

GREAT Friday outfit.  Love the way the cardi goes with the grey camo pants!

I wear open cardis all the time.  Not the waterfall type so much as the open kind.  I don't think it's cutting edge but they are so comfortable and function well in my lifestyle.  I have purchased this one in three colors since January.  How's that for investing in a potentially dated look.  (And I may need to start examining my love of purchasing things in multiples.)

Well, I dragged-out my grey B.F. jacket today to wear to the Salvos. Deborah, so we were almost twins!
I would keep for awhile longer, this shape lends itself to the slouchy, more relaxed way fashion is heading right now.

Definitely keep! It is a great basic, and in good condition. You look fab today as well, love the relaxed fit and lighter colors.

I like this outfit on you Deborah and I would keep the cardigan. When I wear a cardigan with jeans or trousers I like them super long like yours or really short. It's the in between lengths which look frumpy to my eye. Also, Coral is one of my fave colours so you had me from the start ;)

Great outfit! I like the cardi a lot - especially with the details on the sleeves. The coral top is really nice and the textures are interesting. Fun to see you have fun with silhouettes and other colors :-)

Coral looks great on you!  And some blue camo, wow we're really getting treated to the colors on you today.  I love this!  Everything looks 10x more chic on you then anyone else.  How do you do that? :)

    I love the look.

    What nail polish is that?

I like the colour of your nails.

I agree - keep the cardigan and keep wearing it like this. You look very current and chic to me!

    Keep!

Are your blue booties one of the shades in the pants? If so that would look fun together :)

I say Keep! Great outfit, love the unexpected camo pants.

Keep the cardi. The length and fit are great on you and I really like the way you've styled it with the bright top and camo trousers. You always look fab! Haven't seen you wear anything that doesn't work. :-)

I've seen quite a few longer boyfriend style cardigans in the stores lately Deb so I don't think this is dated at all. I like the color combination you have in this outfit (Angie is going to love that you're wearing colur - lol!) and how the soft, drapiness of the cardigan juxtaposes the slimmer fit of the camo pants.

This cardi seems to follow the trend toward looser fits, and suits your style as well.  Keep and enjoy!  I've been "off" cardis too, recently, but I think it's just a hiatus after wearing them a lot.  I've been reminded recently of how fab they can be.

Love to see you in casual wear!

I don't think it looks dated. It's a great casual look.

I like it a lot, it's a softer alternative to a soft BF cut blazer. Works especially well paired with very current items, like those blue camo pants. I nearly fell out of my chair to see you in coral though ;) It looks lovely on you!

I seriously hope the cardi isn't dated because I have many just like it. Love your casual outfit, don't see you in too many and I like it!
