Hi Ladies,

This outfit honestly looks better in person:). I added the scarf to hide the expanse of white across my mid section as I really feel it accentuates my "apple" bits:).

Outfit consists of skinny jeans, white satin sleeveless blouse and herringbone blazer and wedge heel booties.

I am working on unstructured structure at the moment as I recognise that I feel most like me when there are elements of both in my outfit.

Thanks for looking. Feedback and suggests very welcome. I had planned to wear my white booties with this but I'm having a hard time getting used to look of a stark white boot, I love them but maybe it's an eye adjustment thing.

P.s. excuse the weird pose, just started using a remote for the camera it seems I found it hard to focus on both pressing the button and standing properly lol.  Hmm and I thought I was a proficient multi tasker!

    So pretty. That was my first reaction. My second one is that I am skeptical you need to cover you apple bits but I do love the scarf and the white near your face.

    Angie, I did have the white boots on and they look amazing agains the black skinny jeans... but then I took them off:(  This coming week's style goal is going to be wearing the white booties:)

    My first thought was the same as Shevia...so pretty. It is just amazing what you do with a palette of black and white, and grey. Can't wait to see what you do with the white boots.

    I do the scarf trick over the apple as well! But I love the pattern it brings to the outfit, and the outfit is sharp. I find I'm in favor of the black boots with those black skinnies, because the long line of the leg down into the shoes looks great to me here.

    Love it.  Can see it working superbly with the white boots too. 
    Are the sleeves on the jacket a tad long?

    yes I love the scarf pattern against herringbone for interest. colour is good but black and white is sharp... just love it! await white boots and what you will match them with...

    Very chic!  This hits just the right note for a business casual outfit, if that is what you need.  It also works well as a smart casual outfit.

    Gorgeous Deborah! I'd struggle with the white booties next to black too - I tend to favour a lower contrast look, however I admire high contrast on others. Can't wait to see how you wear your whites next week!

    Well, the black booties do nicely elongate the leg-line!
    IKWYM about white booties- I purchased off-white ones and am yet to wear them.
    Perhaps with a straight leg pant or even baby bootleg to cover the ankle might be a good way to start when doing the high contrast pant?
    The greys and whites do look amazing on you Deborah- did you get the draped top in the grey after all?

    Hi Lyn, yes I did get the grey:)  Haven't worn it yet but I think it will come out to play this week.  I need to see your off white booties!

    Yes, just put on the white booties and leave the house! Like that jacket and scarf(not only for those functional reasons:-)), too! Just love!
