Styling a new dress.

Hi Ladies,

Motto is hitting out of the ball park for me at the moment:)  I saw this dress on our designer some weeks back and have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival.  Of course I snapped it up the morning it came in lol.

I have worn it once already but decided to play with some styling options today while at home with my recuperating Master 12.

The dress can be comfortably worn back to front, hence the differing neckline :)

What do you think?

xxx Deborah

What an incredibly versatile dress!!! I would have snatched it up in a heart beat too. I especially love Look #4. You look fantastic.

    Does Motto ship to Canada?

  • Deborah replied 8 years ago

Evie thank you and yes:). $25.00 flat fee for shipping overseas:). xxx

I know Elizabeth P ordered something and so did Donna (in the USA) and she was thrilled with the garments and customer service :)

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to look into it.

It looks lovely!!  Very versatile, it is on that great edge that it can be dressed up or down.

I like all the stylings both ways, I like the necklaces and the belt  But I do think it is better with the heels rather than the flat slides.  I think the length is better.

Reversible dress, how fun! You can wear those architectural items so well.
I understand about the heels but I'd still try to style it with flats for more options. Maybe don't want to look too Toga Party,  but certainly some kind of flat sandals should be able to work with some version of that dress.

I love convertible clothing!  Have you ever read Sue Grafton - The Kinsey Millhone mysteries?  It's been years since I've read one but essentially, the main character (Kinsey) is a private detective and finds herself in all kinds of situations.  The one that struck me as hilarious is that she keeps a LBD wadded up on the floor of the back seat of her car.  If she has to infiltrate a party or dressy event to get clues, she just slips that on - and WA LA instant dress for a variety of situations!  I think this could be that dress!

    Awesome styling

Wow! All the stylings are great. Very versatile. I think this dress is a similar shape to the striped one you showed me? Looks awesome on you :)

  • Jaime replied 8 years ago

I especially like it with the long pearls in #3 - the contrast between classic symmetry and asymmetrical dress is brilliant.

  • Deborah replied 8 years ago

Brooklyn it is the same dress:) xx

This dress is so your style. I like it best in 6 with the scoop neck in front and fab belt.

Looks great Deborah. I have a slight preference for the boat neckline but really, they all look good.

What an amazing dress. Love #3 & #4.

  • Helen11 replied 8 years ago

Fantastic. I admire the clever design. I really like the look with the belt, both necklines, and I especially like the black beads following the shape of the scoop neckline. Motto has fans all over the world, now!

  • Eliza replied 8 years ago

Magic dress. You wear it so well. Love the scoop in the back.

  • Janet replied 8 years ago

Wow, that is so perfect for you! I love the ease and versatility.

I would love to try something like this, but I have never found anything like it that works for me. Why do I struggle so with drape? I wish it were available locally for me to try on. ;-)

    WOW!!!!!

Dramatic and absolutely perfect on you. I like the simplicity of #1 but all your styling options look great and I think even make it look like a different dress. Great for a vacation.

  • Banoffi replied 8 years ago

You look amazing in that dress!  I especially like the styling in #1.

  • Caro in Oz replied 8 years ago

Great dress :) YLF. I like it best with the belt too.

  • Lucy replied 8 years ago

Oh , so gorgeous! You look great, and I love how versatile it seems to be.
Going against the tide, I like it best without the belt, but I love the belt with other things...
    But either way, YLF.
