Hi Ladies,
I have been looking for a kimono jacket for probably the past two years. Bought two last year and promptly ebayed them as they just were not right.
Have just come across this on line. I don't usually do fringes. However I find this strangely appealing, and it would only be worn over black (and possibly my white jeans).
What do you think? Is the fringing too much. Is it too "young" looking, or could it potentially work for me?

What a great topper! The fringe looks great on the model...she's so slim that it hangs beautifully. I do wonder how the fringe would hang, or lay, on a curvier figure.

I think it could work & look great over your black dresses, but it would depend on the quality. The fit & the fabric make the difference between a trendy piece that skews young & a sophisticated & special piece imo.

This is just beautiful. I think the net moves the fringe from being boho into being edgy. I can definitely see this working for you.

Thanks for the feedback! I really like the look of this, however I am questioning the quality. It is very sheer and while hard to tell in the pictures, I am guessing the quality may not be great. It's from Boohoo and I they skew very young and quality is not the priority. Of course I could try and always return if it's lacking... hmmm It's really the first one I have found that make my heart flutter :)

I like this jacket. It looks unique, interesting, fashionable, etc. But I must say, while I would also love a kimono jacket, this one is would not scratch that itch for me. With all the fringe it becomes too specialized/fancy/not sure what word I'm looking for here. Basically, if I got this I would keep looking for a kimono jacket in addition to this garment because this one is not basic enough.
It IS strangely appealing, I agree. This could be one of those things that are either utter garbage, or stunningly great. Only one way to find out!
