Keeping It Real : Spring Casual

Hi Ladies,

Not much to see here but thought I would share two casual outfits.  I am really in need of Spring to arrive properly!  We had a lovely weekend but then the cold has returned this morning:(

#1 Easy layers for errands and then the rest of the day working at home.
Oversized sweater - Supre (3 years old)
Leggings - Target
OTK boots - Target
Scarf - ???

#2 Saturday was sunny and I only had to do a hospital visit (MIL) and take Master 12 to a party.

Navy Top - Motto
Stiped Tee - Ping Pong
Long camisole ???
Ponte pants - Target
Slip on Sneaks - Target.

I am starting to enjoy my sneakers more so now than when I first boght them.  They may well become my weekend go to shoe.  We'll see :)

Thanks for looking

xxx Deborah

Gorgeous! I particularly love 1, the scarf takes it from good to great!

    Is your MIL ok??

  • Jaime replied 8 years ago

#1 is fantastic. #2 looks great but something is missing!

  • Deborah replied 8 years ago

Lucy, thanks, my MIL is ok.  She essentially has a failing heart and they trying to manage the fluid build up.  It's an ongoing thing but the specialist felt in this instance he could manage things better in hospital.  Hoping she can go home this week.

And thanks re the scarf:)  I got sick of how I normally drape my scarves and this kind of happened by accident, just hope I remember how I did it as it was a fresh look for me :)

Shevia, thank you!  I was involuntarily pulling silly faces... didn't want to scare anyone lol.

Love the look in #1, that scarf is gorgeous. I am sick, sick, SICK of the cold. I really do not know how people who live in really cold climates do it.

Your casual looks are very stylish. I love the layers in 2 and the the way that gorgeous scarf elevates the whole look in 1.

I love look number one. It always strikes me how well your looks fit in with your home-- this outfit really echos the art behind you-- your style runs all the way through. I personally LOVE my slip on sneaks.

Both looks are great, but I love #1. Are those Over-the-knee boots? I've been thinking of adding a pair for this upcoming winter season.

  • Deborah replied 8 years ago

Karie they are OTK boots:)  I bought them at Target last year.  So they are faux suede and leather but a good boot for working out if it's a style that could be an integral part of my wardrobe.  I enjoy the look and wearing them so a good quality pair might be in my future.

WOW- I never see sweaters like that when I am dragged into Supre with DDs :)
Looking forward to next weekend for some more Spring weather!

  • Deborah replied 8 years ago

Lyn, Supre is hit and miss (mostly miss!) but I wish I had bought more of these. I think they had navy at the time;(

  • Maneera replied 8 years ago

Love both. #1 is very Deborah chic!
And #2 is such an inspiring way to do 'casuals' without looking drab. I'll be copying that one come cooler weather!

  • Ankita replied 8 years ago

    #1 is an absolute stunner!
I quite like the casual vibe in #2 with the stripes peeking through and the sneakers ☺

  • catgirl replied 8 years ago

WOW, those OTK boots look like a million bucks and they are from Target?  Rock on!

  • Astrid replied 8 years ago

The first outfit is awesome! Especially love the boots and scarf. Good to hear that you're liking your sneakers better and that they weren't a miss.

  • lyn67 replied 8 years ago

Love them both:-), great job with 3 layers in nr 2!

  • Brooklyn replied 8 years ago

Looking good. Especially like no 1. Very chic and simple.

  • Gail replied 8 years ago

Love love the OTK boots and that outfit! I will be checking out Target this winter for them. I really like that overall look but I seem to have trouble pulling it off.

  • Suz replied 8 years ago

You look absolutely stunning in #1. Wow! Love the print on that scarf. And the boots are sensational. You have such a great Target. Ours was nothing like it. (Which is one reason Target couldn't make it in Canada.)

I like #2, also, but I miss your beautiful face!

  • Sveta replied 8 years ago

#1 is TDF and pure Deborah's fabness! You make me want to give the tunic, leggings and boots another go :-)

  • dakotacheryl replied 8 years ago

Such great looks, but the casual layering in #2 is wonderful !!

  • shedev replied 8 years ago

I love both outfits. I'm waiting for the change of seasons too.

  • annagybe replied 8 years ago

    Great #1
FYI to others. Target Australia is a completely different company than Target USA.

  • Sal replied 8 years ago

They both are great but I especially like 2...of course I am a sucker for stripes.

We don't have Target here which is a shame as I found them a good source for household items and clothes especially basics. We do have your K Mart and the NZ version which is the Warehouse. I only buy the odd piece of gear there, their sportswear is good and lovely colours.
