Dresses

Hi Fabbers,

Quiet night, after a busy day, and what better way to relax than online browsing;)

Been scrolling through birdsnest.com.au and quite an extensive range of dresses. Thrilled to see dresses with sleeves, particularly elbow length sleeves.

Just popped these into my file for the end of my shopping fast;)

Just thought anyone looking for dresses might be interested to take a peek.

xxxDeborah

Those are so fab! I can see you in all of them.

It is already cold here, only 40F (6C) or so most mornings. Already missing dresses and skirts. :(

I can see you in all of these dresses too. Nice finds.

I am so glad that silver thing in #1 is a necklace and not part of the dress! It looks so odd. #3 is also a bit odd--on first impression the two tone thing isn't working for me #4 looks interesting. I would love to see you try that on.

Alana I agree re #1, the necklace is too much:). I'm a little partial to the dress;). I like the look of three and it does look better on the model but that style doesn't usually work for me. #4 is one I have looked at for a while and it's now on sale!!

#4 looks like it could work for pretty hot days - which is the only area I am planning to dress to, for this summer

They all look possible to me! On you, that is. I am shuddering at the thought of how I would look in #4, especially...urgh.....

I love seeing new labels and websites.  I really like the first dress - funny, was stressing out last night over not having a dress to wear out to dinner tomorrow evening and "what was I going to wear ?"  etc.  That would be perfect to have for a million occasions.

Ooh! I like the first and third ones the best. Interesting drape and shape on each of them. The second one is more classic and also a nice look; it would be so flattering with your light hair. I can see them on you, Deborah.

Thanks Ladies.  I love seeing what's around.  Of course these appealed to me but they also had some fabulous patterned and floral dresses and everything else under the sun.  I think it was 37 pages of dresses lol...fell asleep and dreamt of dresses lol

The first dress is very appealing :)  And Lisa yes my thoughts exactly.  This dress would be lovely for going out, for work even casually with birks.  And then I stopped and had to ask do I need another black dress... and I am pretty sure I DO ha ha.

Thanks for sharing, Deborah.  I could be tempted to try  #4 with high strappy heels and long, dangly earrings..... or knee high boots and stud earrings..... or sandals and a cuff.....  I'll be dreaming about dress next!  Bwahahaha!

#3 is least in line with your style. Unless you need a more conservative look for work.

  • Aubergine replied 9 years ago

Like those! Especially #4, because I really like the look of the twisted hem at the bottom.

  • Deborah replied 9 years ago

Anna you are right!  Its a style that I like the look of but it doesn't really work for me.

I am going to be a spanner and say I am a bit on the fence about 1. Its interesting and fun, but that interesting ruching seems to hit at the wrong place on the model. Like it got stuck somewhere in the way out from the washroom ;). Now I see I am the only one who sees this ... So it could be just in my head!

I love 4 for you! The best out of the lot :)
