Coats/Jackets for Winter:)

Ladies I posted a lightweight jacket/coat today for consideration and I am glad I didn't make a decision today lol.. cos I just found these also.

#1 Is ink colour and I am pretty sure the pockets will sit a little lower on
     me.

#2. Is a Charcoal Grey and not my best colour, so would be be keen to
see if it becomes available in black or ink.

#3.  Is one I have been waiting to arrive in store and I really like it.  Again
it's ink not black and the cable knit of the body of the jacket is really
  nice.

#4.  Is the one I posted earlier today.

I think it might be hard to only buy one lol.  Ooooh I love Winter clothes!!

BTW.. it's not about warmth, I travel by car and work in a heated office and shop so I spend minimal time out in the elements.

xxx Deborah

I still love the one your posted earlier, but it looks much better on you, tha non the model!:-) Like all the other 3, too,-and depends for what and how you would style them, but the one poatterned in bl&cream  is very special, and will bookend your hair:-)

I can imagine each of these on you, Deborah.  1 is my favourite, 2 is good if you can get the colour you prefer, and 3 has more of an edgy look.  I wonder how many you'll end up with!

    3.

I have a strong preference for number 3. It looks the most "you" to me.

  • amiable replied 7 years ago

I'll join the "3" chorus too.  Love the other one (#4), but this one is even better, and more "you".  Unless you're wanting a super-statement coat....

I can see any of these working with your wardrobe but like 3 the best from these pictures. It looks more designer than 1 or 2 and more versatile than 4. However, you should have 4 and one of the others.

Yes, I agree with others on 3. I also like 1. I haven't seen your post on 4 so I'm off to take a peek at it.

ETA: Back to say I like 4 on you too, you could certainly wear it beautifully. It is a lot of print, and I personally skew towards solid coats as I find prints a bit limiting for styling. I have owned 2 printed coats in the past and quickly got tired of them. But your wardrobe is different from mine (more solids) and you may have more coats to choose from to offset any boredom factor!

Whatever you choose, I know you will look gorgeous.

I like the mixed media of 3, too and can see it easily with your usual style. But I like the statement of 4's pattern ,too!

  • Janet replied 7 years ago

I still love the patterned one, but 3 runs a close second. Very different vibes though.

    #3 for the win.

  • Lyn D. replied 7 years ago

I think I like #4 for its point of difference.
I am considering #1 for myself although it is quite long- the model is tall with long arms I think!

  • Isabel replied 7 years ago

2 is my least favorite. I feel you have that silhouette/cut in your clothes already. The others are fab. I think 3 or 4. : )

i like #3 best. Out of curiosity what is the typical winter day temperature for you?

  • shedev replied 7 years ago

    I love #3.

  • Deborah replied 7 years ago

Thanks for the feedback ladies:). I think I can add two new jackets so I will hold off and wait to see if #3 meets my expectations and I will think further on the patterned coat as I am still quite taken with it.

Lyn D love to hear what you think of #1 if you do try it :)

Another vote for #3, but it all depends on where these hit you.  They should make these models our height!
